ERIC’S EXCUSE: Holder Downplays ‘KICK’ Comment, Says GOP Stoking ‘Fake Outrage’

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.11.18

Former Attorney General Eric Holder downplayed his recent comments that urged supporters to “kick” Republican voters when they’re down; accusing the GOP of stoking “fake outrage” to distract from the upcoming midterm elections.

Holder posted his excuse on social media days after video of his violent rhetoric went viral on social media; saying “Ok, stop the fake outrage. I’m obviously not advocating violence. (In fact, when I was AG violent crime in the US was historically low.) I’m saying Republicans are undermining our democracy and Democrats need to be tough, proud and stand up for the values we believe in – the end.”

Holder was speaking with left-wing activists this week when he “updated” Michelle Obama’s signature message, “When they go low, we go high.”

“No,” said Holder. “When they go low, we kick them.”

Former Attorney General Eric Holder doubled-down on recent anti-GOP violence across the country this week; urging liberal activists to “kick” GOP voters when “they go low.”

Holder was speaking with supporters at an event Tuesday when he seemingly endorsed the scenes of rage and protests taking place throughout the nation in the aftermath of Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

“It’s time for us as Democrats to be as tough as they are, as dedicated as they are, as committed as they are,” said Holder.

“Michelle Obama always said ‘When they go low, we go high.’ No, when they go low, we kick them,” he added as the room burst out in applause.

NO THANKS: Eric Holder Says He’s ‘SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING’ Running in 2020

Barack Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder raised eyebrows throughout Washington Monday night, publicly admitting he was “seriously considering” a run for the White House in 2020.

Holder was speaking with late night comedian Stephen Colbert when he was asked if he was planning a potential showdown against President Trump; telling the comic he’d make his “determination sometime early next year.”

“General Holder, are you seriously considering throwing your hat in the ring in 2020?” asked Colbert.

“Yeah, I’m thinking about it. What I’ve said is that I’d make a determination sometime early next year. What I’m really focused on is the 2020 midterms to try and make sure Democrats take back the Senate, take back the House,” confirmed Holder.
