ESCAPE FROM NY: More Than ONE THIRD of New Yorkers Plan on Fleeing De Blasio’s Big Apple

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.21.19

A new poll released this week by Quinnipiac University shows a whopping 41% of New Yorkers “can’t afford” to live in the Big Apple; citing massive taxes, crumbling infrastructure, and crippling housing costs across the nation’s largest city.

“More than a third of all city residents say they can’t afford to live anywhere in the state — much less the Big Apple — and believe economic hardship will send them packing in five years or less, according to a dismal new poll,” writes the New York Post.

“They are making this city a city for the wealthy, and they are really choking out the middle class,’’ said one Queens resident.

“A lot of my friends have had to move to Florida, Texas, Oregon. You go to your local shop, and it’s $5 for a gallon of milk and $13 for shampoo. Do you know how much a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is? $1700! What’s wrong with this picture?” he added.

“I am definitely not going to be here five years from now. I will probably move to Florida or Texas where most of my family has moved,” said another lifelong New Yorker.

DE BLASIO’S NYC: Mayor Calls for Construction of $10 BILLION Global Warming ‘Barriers’ in Lower Manhattan

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.14.19

Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio left millions of New Yorkers scratching their heads Thursday; totally ignoring the city’s crumbling infrastructure and calling for the creation of global warming “barriers” in lower Manhattan.

“We don’t debate global warming in New York City. Not anymore. The only question is where to build the barriers to protect us from rising seas and the inevitable next storm, and how fast we can build them,” posted the Mayor’s office on social media.

“Over the coming years, we will spend up to $10 billion to extend the downtown waterfront,” he added.

The Mayor’s plan comes hours after he posted another bizarre tweet; instructing New Yorkers on the proper use of toilets and apartments across the city.

DE BLASIO’S NYC: New York On Brink of Bankruptcy for the FIRST TIME in Over 40 YEARS

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.11.19

New York City is inching closer to financial bankruptcy for the first time in over four decades as experts warn officials of massive public spending and decreased tax revenue as wealthy residents flee to other cities across the country.

“New York City is careening closer to all-out financial bankruptcy for the first time since Mayor Abraham Beame ran the city more than 40 years ago, experts say,” reports the New York Post.

“As tax-fleeced businesses and individuals flee en masse, and city public spending surges into the stratosphere, financial analysts say Gotham is perilously near total fiscal disaster,” adds the article. “Mayor Bill de Blasio is ramping up to spend as much as $3 billion more in the new budget than the current $89.2 billion.”

“The city is running a deficit and could be in a real difficult spot if we had a recession, or a further flight of individuals because of tax reform,” added a leading economist. “New York is already in a difficult financial spot, but it would be in an impossible situation if we had any kind of setback.”
