FACE TO FACE: Otto Warmbier’s Father to STARE DOWN North Korea at Olympic Ceremony

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.05.18

The father of an American student who died after being severely tortured by the North Korean government will attend the upcoming Winter Olympics’ opening ceremonies in South Korea, staring down Kim’s brutal regime as a personal guest of Vice President Mike Pence.

Fred Warmbier confirmed this week he will be traveling to South Korea alongside the Vice President and other US officials ahead of the international competition; placing the grieving father on Kim’s doorstep as a 250-person North Korean delegation competes on the global stage.

Fred’s 22-year old son Otto was arrested by North Korean police for allegedly stealing a propaganda poster from his hotel’s hallway, eventually being sentenced to 15 years of forced labor for committing “crimes against the state.”

He was transported back to the United States after falling into a coma, and eventually died from “severe beatings.”

The Warmbiers attended President Trump’s State of the Union address less than one week ago, where the Commander-in-Chief called them “powerful witnesses” to the “menace” posed by North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

“You are powerful witnesses to a menace that threatens our world, and your strength inspires truly us all,” Trump told the grieving family. “Tonight, we pledge to honor Otto’s memory with total American resolve.”

DOOMSDAY DELAY: Kim Hopes for SUCCESSFUL Olympics in South Korea

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.02.18

In a rare gesture of friendship and international cooperation, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un wished South Korea “success” in hosting the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympic Games; saying the competition goes “beyond all political division.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, the communist despot mentioned the games in his annual New Year’s Day address to the nation, adding that the hermit kingdom would soon dispatch a delegation to Seoul to coordinate sending North Korean athletes to compete in the international competition.

“The Winter Olympic Games that will be held soon in the South will be a good opportunity to display the status of the Korean nation and we sincerely wish that the event will be held with good results,” said Kim.

“We know about the political tensions on the Korean Peninsula,” added International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach. “The Olympic Games are about dialogue. They are a symbol of hope and peace.”

Tensions between the United States and North Korea are at an all-time high as Kim Jong Un continues to defy the international community and advance his weapons and missile programs.

Earlier this year, the communist nation was hit with crippling sanctions by the United Nations after North Korea launched an international ballistic missile capable of striking every major American city.

DOOMSDAY DELAY: North and South Korea UNITE for 2018 Olympics

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.17.18

Kim Jong Un’s brutal North Korean regime will march alongside their southern neighbors during the opening ceremonies of the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympic Games; officially entering the competition under a “unified Korean” flag.

Both North and South Korean officials announced the decision Wednesday, signaling a further flaw in the ice-cold relations between the two countries that have technically been in a state of war since 1950.

The flag –a blue silhouette of the Korean peninsula against a white background- will officially replace the South Korean flag during the ceremonies; the first time a host nation will not open the competition under their own flag.

The two nations also confirmed their intention to unite their female hockey teams into a single roster.

Following weeks of negotiations, North Korea is prepared to send its delegation of over 200 athletes, reporters, and supporters into South Korea. The “easing of tensions” began earlier this year when dictator Kim Jong Un wished the staunch American ally a “successful” Olympic Games.

The two nations will unite under a unified flag when the games began February 9th.
