FEINSTEIN’S NEXT FIGHT: The Senator Slams Trump’s Plan to ‘STACK THE COURT’

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.12.18

Sen. Dianne Feinstein settled on her next fight against the Trump administration Thursday night; slamming the White House for planning to “stack” the 9th Circuit Court without “consulting” her office.

Feinstein unloaded on the Trump administration hours after the Senate Judiciary Committee unveiled their plan to confirm upwards of 40 judges ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.

“The decision to move forward on 9th Circuit nominees without consultation or responding to my acceptance of the White House’s offer reflects President Trump’s desire to stack the court. I expect my blue slips to be honored as I was acting in good faith,” posted the liberal leader.

Just days earlier, Feinstein issued another “demand” from the White House; this time requesting information regarding the administration’s decision to include citizenship status on the upcoming 2020 census.

APOCALYPSE NOW: Feinstein Warns ‘PEOPLE WILL DIE’ if Gov Shuts Down

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.19.18

Leading Democrats have officially abandoned their dire predictions of ‘Armageddon’ surrounding the GOP tax cuts, but are now warning that “people will die” should the government shut down Friday evening; saying the move will cause “necessary functions” to cease for civilians throughout the country.

Left-leaning Senator Dianne Feinstein escalated her war of words with her Congressional opponents on Thursday, breathlessly claiming the pending shutdown would likely cause death and destruction for an untold number of Americans.

“Shutting down the government is a very serious thing. People die, accidents happen. You don’t know. Necessary functions can cease,” Feinstein told CNN.

“There is no specific list you can look at and make a judgment: ‘Well everything is going to be just fine.’ You can’t make that judgment. So, I think it’s a last resort. And I’m really hopeful we don’t get to it,” she added.

Despite the liberal Senator’s concerns, Feinstein announced she will not vote for any budget deal that doesn’t include a ‘Dream Act.’

“I won’t vote for a CR without the Dream Act. We need to get the Dream Act passed, negotiate a multi-year budget agreement and fund the government through September, and we need to do so now,” Feinstein tweeted.

DIANNE DENIED: California Democrats REFUSE to Endorse Sen. Feinstein

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.26.18

Longstanding US Senator Dianne Feinstein was harshly rebuked by California Democrats over the weekend; failing to secure enough votes to officially garner her party’s endorsement as she hopes to win her fifth term in office.

The Senator was unable to secure the 60% threshold necessary for the party to endorse a specific candidate, with upcoming progressive politician Kevin de Leon making deep inroads into Feinstein’s liberal base.

“With Democrats still licking their wounds from the 2016 election, some of the party’s biggest stars, including U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris and U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, urged unity ahead of the midterm elections,” writes ABC News. “They reminded more than 3,000 activists gathered this weekend that President Donald Trump is their common enemy.”

Kevin de Leon rose to prominence in recent months after authoring the party’s ‘Sanctuary State’ legislation, a bill that limits local authorities’ cooperation with federal authorities in cracking down in illegal immigration.

The party’s indecision highlights a major rift within the progressive movement, with politicians and activists unsure how to tackle President Trump and their GOP opponents ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.
