FIREWORKS: Acting Attorney General CUTS OFF Rep. Nadler Mid-Question, ‘Your Time Is UP’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.08.19

President Trump’s Acting Attorney General abruptly ended a line of questioning from Rep. Jerrold Nadler Friday morning; telling the legislator his “five-minutes are up” after he exceeded the agreed upon time limit.

Acting AG Matt Whitaker was speaking before the House Judiciary Committee Friday when he cut-off Nadler’s question, saying “Mr. Chairman, I see that your five minutes is up I’m here voluntarily I agreed to five-minute rounds”

“Mr. Chairman, I see that your five minutes is up I’m here voluntarily I agreed to five-minute rounds. I think that’s a fine place to end the five-minute rule… This might be a good breaking point,” said Whitaker.

BREAKING: Democrat Senators FILE LAWSUIT to Block Trump’s Pick to Lead DOJ

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.19.18

Three liberal Senators filed a lawsuit Monday seeking to block President Trump’s pick to become Acting Attorney General at the Department of Justice; claiming the appointment “violated the United States Constitution” and bypassed the Senate’s confirmation process.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for Washington, DC and was signed by Senators Richard Blumenthal, Sheldon Whitehouse, and Mazie Hirono; claiming Matthew Whitaker must undergo a full nomination hearing.

“Americans prize a system of checks and balances, which President Trump’s dictatorial appointment betrays,” Blumenthal said in a statement.

Democratic Senators claim the appointment of Whitaker poses a direct threat to special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing Russia investigation.

GRASSLEY: Mueller’s Russia Probe Will Wrap-Up ‘Within a Month’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.05.19

Former chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley confirmed Tuesday he believes the special counsel is rapidly wrapping-up his ongoing probe into Russian-Collusion; saying he believes lawmakers will see Robert Mueller’s report “within a month.”

Grassley was speaking with radio host Hugh Hewitt this week when he was asked if he expected Mueller to release his months-long investigation into allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

“Within a month, if we see it,” Grassley said.

Grassley’s comments echo Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker’s previous statement regarding the Mueller probe; telling reporters, “Right now the investigation is, I think, close to being completed.”
