FIREWORKS: Trump UNLOADS on Pelosi, Schumer Over Border Wall in Fiery Exchange

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.11.18

President Trump unloaded on House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Tuesday; blasting the top Democrats for their inability to secure funding for his proposed border wall.

The Commander-in-Chief was hosting a high-stakes discussion with the Democratic leadership at the White House where he vowed to “shut down” the government should they fail to reach an agreement.

“If there’s not border security, I won’t take it!” Trump confirmed. “I am proud to shut down the government for border security.”

“I will take the mantle,” he added. “I will be the one to shut it down. And I’m gonna shut it down for border security.”

'CARAVAN' CRISIS: Group Say Trump Threatening Immigrants With ‘MASS VIOLENCE’

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.03.18

The organizers behind a massive “caravan” of US-destined immigrants slammed the Trump administration while traveling through Mexico Tuesday, saying the US President was threatening Central Americans with “threats of mass violence.”

According to Fox News, the leaders of the 1,000-immigrant strong march towards the United States’ southern border accused Trump of “bullying” the refugee community; adding his “caravan” will continue to stand with all “displaced peoples.”

“On April 1st, the U.S. President opportunistically invoked refugee caravans as a pretext for threatening immigrants already in the country, specifically DACA recipients, with a so-called ‘Nuclear Option’ to remove their protections from detention and deportation,” said a statement from People Without Borders.

“In the face of this bullying and these threats of mass violence, we continue to stand in solidarity with displaced people of all races, ethnicities, creeds, abilities, and gender and sexual identities,” the organization said.

President Trump called for “tougher laws” Monday night following news of the approaching Central American immigrants, saying “Honduras, Mexico and many other countries that the U.S. is very generous to, sends many of their people to our country through our WEAK IMMIGRATION POLICIES. Caravans are heading here. Must pass tough laws and build the WALL. Democrats allow open borders, drugs and crime!”

'TOTAL CATASTROPHE': Four Separate IMMIGRATION BILLS FAIL in US Senate

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.16.18

Four separate immigration bills crashed and burned in the US Senate this week, capping off a week of fiery debate, negotiations, and eventually defeat as both the President’s proposal and a bipartisan bill failed to secure enough votes.

Trump’s four-part immigration plan -which would provide a pathway to citizenship for nearly two million ‘Dreamers,’ fund his border wall, and end “chain” migration- went down in defeat, with many Republicans joining their Democrat colleagues and sinking the bill in a 39-60 vote.

The Senate’s bipartisan deal also fell short just hours after Trump threatened to veto the bill he described as a “total catastrophe.”

“The Schumer-Rounds-Collins immigration bill would be a total catastrophe. @DHSgov says it would be ‘the end of immigration enforcement in America.’ It creates a giant amnesty (including for dangerous criminals), doesn’t build the wall, expands chain migration, keeps the visa,” Trump tweeted.

The Senate’s inability to pass any immigration deal comes as the March 5th deadline looms with the nation’s DACA program officially expiring; throwing into question the fate of millions of ‘Dreamers’ currently residing in the United States.
