ON THIN ICE: Police Union Warns REMOVING ICE AGENTS from Long Island a ‘Deadly’ Mistake

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.22.19

A police union on Long Island, New York issued a dire warning to local officials this week; saying the government’s recent decision to remove ICE agents from regional prisons could have “deadly” consequences.

“Nassau County Executive Laura Curran is rolling out the red carpet for the brutal MS-13 gang by booting Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers from the local jail, police union leaders charged on Tuesday,” writes the NY Post.

“It could be tragic. It could end up in deaths in Nassau County,” said county Police Benevolent Association president James McDermott. “This is a political decision. This is not a decision for public safety. I’m calling on the county executive to reconsider and stop the madness.”

“They deal directly with gang members and they are very good at it,” McDermott added. “ICE is good at getting information from these guys in jails. We are nothing without information.”

ABOLISH ICE? 160 Illegal Immigrants ARRESTED at a SINGLE FACTORY in Texas

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.29.18

At least 160 undocumented workers were detained by ICE agents during a massive sweep this week, with federal officers confirming the illegal immigrants were apprehended at a trailer factory in Texas.

According to ABC News, the “immigration bust” occurred at Load Trail, a trailer manufacturing company with previous violations for hiring undocumented migrants at its Texas facility approximately 100 miles east of Dallas.

“I know I just heard helicopters everywhere and I saw a whole lot of people running and so I turned to run and the first corner I hit I got guns drawn down on me,” said one eyewitness.

“I knew these were clearly illegals. This is not the way we are supposed to be hiring,” said Katrina Berger, the DHS specialist in charge of the sweep. “They told me to keep doing my job — that if they were visited by ICE again, they would simply pay the fine and go on.”

“We’re watching and we’re coming,” she added. “Businesses that knowingly hire illegal aliens create an unfair advantage over their competing businesses.”

GANGLAND: New Yorkers PRAISE Trump’s Crackdown on ‘Animal’ MS-13

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.23.18

Local residents on Long Island, New York praised the President’s tough approach to violent street gang MS-13 this week; thanking the President for his harsh crackdown on the cartel that has terrorized communities for over a decade.

The President first visited the region in July to talk with leaders about the “bloodstained killing fields” that had overrun their neighborhoods; saying his administration will “dismantle and eradicate” the gang after multiple murders terrorized the suburban communities.

“It feels a lot better and safer,” longtime Brentwood resident Melissa Early, 40, told Newsday. “I’m not sure if they’ve moved on or they just know people are gunning for them.”

“It used to be … people afraid to walk around,” she said. “Now it’s all different. The police are really on top of things.”

Democrat Nassau County Executive Laura Curran praised the Trump administration’s response to MS-13, calling the President’s focus on law enforcement a “unique opportunity.”

“It is a unique opportunity,” Curran said, “to directly seek more federal funds and assistance for law enforcement to combat gangs and gain resources for community groups to keep our youth from joining gangs.”
