GOOGLE GLITCH: Employee Emails Show Executives Were ‘SURPRISED’ by Trump’s Latino Support

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.11.18

Newly released emails exchanged between Google employees reveal how senior staffers reacted to President Trump’s victory in 2016, with top-level employees saying they were “surprised” by his popularity among Hispanic and Latino voters.

According to Fox News, the emails were written by Google’s head of multicultural marketing and reveal the tech giant’s efforts to turnout the vote ahead of the 2016 general election.

“We worked very hard. Many people did. We pushed to get out the Latino vote with our features, our partners, and our voices. We kept our Googley efforts non-partisan and followed our company’s protocols for the elections strategy,” states the email.

“Ultimately, after all was said and one [sic], the Latino community did come out to vote, and completely surprised us. We never anticipated that 29% of Latinos would vote for Trump. No one did,” the executive wrote.

GOOGLE GLITCH: Search Engine Labels Republicans as ‘NAZIS’ in Results

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.31.18

Technology giant Google came under fire Thursday after the search engine listed “Nazism” as the official ideology of the California Republican Party, sparking outrage from GOP supporters across the country.

According to Vice News, the term “Nazism” was used to describe the party’s ideology in the search engine’s “knowledge panel,” which shows quick information on a subject the user may be interested in.

Google has since removed the party’s “ideology” panel from the search engine.

“It is disgraceful that the world’s largest search engine has labeled millions of California Republicans as Nazis,” said GOP congressman Kevin McCarthy.

“This is just the latest incident in a disturbing trend to slander conservatives. These damaging actions must be held to account. The bias has to stop,” he added.

GOOGLE GLITCH: The President POUNDS Google Over ‘RIGGED SEARCHES’ Against Republicans

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.28.18

President Trump took his war against social media censorship to the next level Tuesday morning; blasting tech giant Google over recent reports that 96% of its search results were from the “left-wing media.”

“Google search results for ‘Trump News’ shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake New Media. In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD. Fake CNN is prominent. Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out. Illegal? 96% of results on ‘Trump News’ are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous. Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good. They are controlling what we can & cannot see. This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!” tweeted Trump.
