GRASSLEY GOES OFF: The Senator UNLOADS on Rosenstein Over Access to FBI Agent

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.11.18

Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley unloaded on senior Department of Justice officials Monday; demanding access to the FBI agent who interviewed former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

Grassley sent a scathing letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; demanding access to those who interviewed the former NSA and whose testimony would eventually lead to his indictment in the ongoing Russia probe.

“This is no ordinary criminal case,” wrote Grassley. “Congress has a right to know the full story and to know it now.”

“Contrary to his public statements during his current book tour denying any memory of those comments, then-Director Comey led us to believe during that briefing that the agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe he intentionally lied about his conversation with the Ambassador and that the Justice Department was unlikely to prosecute him for false statements made in that interview,” he added in another letter.

DOJ DISASTER: GOP Rep. Says SESSIONS, ROSENSTEIN ‘In Contempt’

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.11.18

Rep. Mark Meadows believes Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein “should be held in contempt” over their efforts to stonewall the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia probe.

The GOP legislator was speaking with reporters Wednesday when he was asked to weigh-in on the President’s rocky relationship with Rosenstein, adding, “It’s members of Congress who have a bigger problem with Rod Rosenstein.”

“He is not giving us the documents, and he is not doing his job… If he is not going to do the job, he needs to go and find one that he will do, and so the frustration with the AG and the deputy AG is probably more of a focus of Congress, and it probably makes the president’s dissatisfaction pale in comparison,” said Meadows.

“They have not complied with the subpoena. They should be held in contempt if they can’t get it right,” he added.

HANNITY: Rod Rosenstein 'Aiding and Abetting' Mueller's Anti-Trump Witch Hunt

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.14.17

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night, Sean blasted Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for refusing to acknowledge the “mountain of evidence” showing blatant, anti-Trump bias throughout the Department of Justice.

“The fall-out continues over new examples of political bias, one after another, coming from the Department of Justice, the FBI, and Robert Mueller’s merry band of Democratic donors,” said Sean.

“massive conflicts of interest and political prejudice”

“The massive conflicts of interest, the political prejudice being exposed in America’s justice system has Republican lawmakers finally waking up and demanding answers,” he added. “GOP congressman, they wasted little-time today in questioning the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.”

“Despite today’s grilling, Rosenstein remains defiant, defending Mueller and his team of Clinton-lovers and Trump-haters,” Hannity said. “There’s a mountain of evidence now showing this bias among Mueller’s investigators, yet Rosenstein pretends he’s the only person in America that doesn’t see it.”

“This is a direct threat to the rule of law in this country. Rosenstein is aiding and abetting that threat. If he had any sort of moral compass he would shut down Mueller’s corrupt witch hunt immediately,” he added.
