HANNITY: FBI May Have VIOLATED CRIMINAL Statutes in FISA Scandal

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.02.18

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Thursday night, Sean weighed-in on House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes’ fiery letter to the Attorney General; informing the DOJ that the FBI likely violated federal laws in using the ‘Trump Dossier’ to obtain FISA warrants.

“This letter just released to the Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes is detailing how the FBI may have literally broken the law and violated bureau protocols when obtaining that FISA warrant to surveil Trump campaign associate Carter Page,” said Sean.

“Given this new information, Chairman Nunes is now demanding the DOJ explain if, in fact, these protocols are still in place,” he added. “We already know the answer, they never verified this. And if they are, the Chairman wants to know how officials will be punished for violating this law and lying to a FISA judge.”

“The scandal is getting bigger and bigger unlike any abuse of power we have ever seen in the history of this country. That’s why we’re peeling layer after layer from this onion,” said Hannity.

DEMOCRATS PANIC: Nunes Says FISA MEMO Only ‘PHASE ONE,’ Eyes Hillary’s STATE DEPT.

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.05.18

House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes raised alarm bells within Democratic circles on Monday, saying his decision to release the bombshell FISA memo was just “phase one” in his efforts to get to the bottom of anti-Trump abuse throughout the federal government.

Nunes was speaking with Fox News when he outlined his vision for the next stage of the Committee’s investigation into widespread abuse at the FBI, Department of Justice, and beyond; adding he plans to “follow the facts where they lead.”

“What we will do in phase two is follow the facts where they lead, and when we get enough facts, we will figure out a way to let the American people know,” he told Fox & Friends.

“Phase one of our investigation was getting to the FISA abuse. What we’re looking at now is the State Department and some of the irregularities there,” he added.

Nunes’ comments come months after Attorney General Jeff Sessions confirmed his Department of Justice was investigating “certain issues” inside former President Barack Obama’s State Department; including Hillary’s Uranium One deal and possible “pay-to-play” arrangements between the State Department and Clinton Foundation.

FISA FALLOUT: Nunes Says FBI ‘CLEARLY VIOLATED’ Protocol in Using ‘Trump Dossier’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.02.18

Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes sent a scathing letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions Thursday; informing the Department of Justice that the FBI was in “clear violation” of protocol when it used the ‘Trump Dossier’ to obtain FISA warrants.

Nunes letter claims the bureau’s use of the “unverified” Clinton-financed document was a violation of the agency’s policy of only relying on “documented and verified” material when submitting FISA applications involving American citizens.

According to the Daily Caller, Nunes also believes officials inside the Department of Justice may have broken the law in their handling of the Christopher Steele-authored document.

“The accuracy of information contained within FISA applications is of utmost importance,” says the DOJ’s official guidelines in obtaining warrants to surveil Americans. “Only documented and verified information may be used to support FBI applications [FISA] to the court [FISC].”

Nunes’ letter comes as former Deputy Director McCabe is under fire over recent revelations he was responsible for leaking information to the press regarding Hillary Clinton’s email probe; raising serious questions over the bureau’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election.
