Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Tuesday night, Sean weighed-in on President Trump’s bold decision to deploy the US military to the nation’s southern border; adding it was “about time” an American President “stood up” for the country’s sovereignty.
“The President is refusing to back away from his promise to secure America’s borders. Congress has repeatedly failed to pass tough immigration laws and people are flooding into our country,” said Hannity. “Democrats have been obstructing every single step of the way, they’re not interested in solving problems.”
“The President is signaling he’s done playing games when it comes to border security. He’s now saying he will use the US military to help secure the border,” he added. “All the drug trafficking, the human trafficking, and of course, the possibility that terrorists could cross that border. This is a major national security issue.”
“President Trump is telling Mexico if they don’t act, NAFTA negotiations will be in jeopardy. It’s about time an American President stood up for our country’s sovereignty,” said Sean.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Federal Judge SIDES WITH TRUMP on Border Wall Construction
President Trump’s proposed border wall with Mexico got one step closer to construction this week, with a federal judge ruling against environmental activists and the state of California who challenged the physical barrier; claiming the “wall” would severely harm the region’s ecosystem.
US District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel ruled in favor of the Trump administration; swiping down a case that claimed a “border wall” would seriously violate existing environmental protection laws.
The President hailed the court’s decision on social media Wednesday morning, writing “I have decided that sections of the Wall that California wants built NOW will not be built until the whole Wall is approved. Big victory yesterday with ruling from the courts that allows us to proceed. OUR COUNTRY MUST HAVE BORDER SECURITY!”

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra slammed the court’s ruling, accusing the Trump administration of committing “federal overreach.”
“A medieval wall along the U.S.-Mexico border simply does not belong in the 21st century,” Becerra said.
'TOTAL CATASTROPHE': Four Separate IMMIGRATION BILLS FAIL in US Senate
Four separate immigration bills crashed and burned in the US Senate this week, capping off a week of fiery debate, negotiations, and eventually defeat as both the President’s proposal and a bipartisan bill failed to secure enough votes.
Trump’s four-part immigration plan -which would provide a pathway to citizenship for nearly two million ‘Dreamers,’ fund his border wall, and end “chain” migration- went down in defeat, with many Republicans joining their Democrat colleagues and sinking the bill in a 39-60 vote.
The Senate’s bipartisan deal also fell short just hours after Trump threatened to veto the bill he described as a “total catastrophe.”
“The Schumer-Rounds-Collins immigration bill would be a total catastrophe. @DHSgov says it would be ‘the end of immigration enforcement in America.’ It creates a giant amnesty (including for dangerous criminals), doesn’t build the wall, expands chain migration, keeps the visa,” Trump tweeted.

The Senate’s inability to pass any immigration deal comes as the March 5th deadline looms with the nation’s DACA program officially expiring; throwing into question the fate of millions of ‘Dreamers’ currently residing in the United States.
