Sanity and reason returned to CNN for a brief moment Monday morning when an anchor at the cable news network called-out the liberal hypocrisy regarding the recently released FISA memo; asking a left-wing legislator if releasing a “Democratic rebuttal” would be “extremely reckless as well.”
CNN host Alisyn Camerota was speaking with Democratic Rep. Pete Aguilar earlier Monday; pressing the California congressman to comment on the House Intelligence Committee’s decision to release the controversial FISA memo last week.
“Let’s put all of these memos out there and let the American public decide and weigh-in,” said Aguilar. “It’s been ridiculous. This is a failed partisan attempt to discredit the FBI because the FBI is investigating the President and his associates.”
“How can their release be extremely reckless, but you want the Democratic rebuttal released?” asked Camerota. “Isn’t that the same thing? Wouldn’t that be extremely reckless as well?”

HELL FREEZES OVER: CNN Gives Trump 'A LOT OF CREDIT' for Immigration Talks
Despite its turbulent relationship with President Trump, cable news giant CNN heaped praise on the Commander-in-Chief after he launched his bipartisan effort to reform the nation’s outdated immigration system; saying he “deserves a lot of credit” for allowing cameras into the tense negotiations.
CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer was speaking with senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta when the two weighed-in on Trump’s historic decision to broadcast his round-table discussion on DACA, the border wall, and other highly-contested issues as Congress prepares to tackle immigration reform.
“I’ve got to give the President of the United States a lot of credit. He allowed the TV cameras in there for this really remarkable meeting. I’ve covered the White House as you have for many years, I don’t remember when a White House has allowed TV cameras in such an unusual meeting.”
Blitzer’s comments regarding Trump comes just days after White House advisor Stephen Miller and CNN’s Jake Tapper engaged in a fiery exchange; with Miller slamming the network after the anchor questioned the President’s mental health and fitness for office.
Tapper eventually cut off the Trump advisor’s microphone, telling him that he’d “wasted” enough of his viewers time.
HELL FREEZES OVER: Destroy-Trump Media ADMITS President’s Speech a ‘HUGE’ Success
Members of the destroy-Trump media were desperately attempting to spin the President’s first State of the Union address Tuesday night, but were forced to report on polls that show the vast majority of American’s highly approved of Trump’s primetime speech.
According to CBS News, a whopping 75% of Americans liked what they heard from their Commander-in-Chief, with 25% disapproving.
The figures broke down largely along party lines, with nine in ten GOP viewers saying the address made them “proud” and nearly half of Democrats saying it made them feel “angry.”
“Eight in 10 Americans who watched tonight felt that the president was trying to unite the country, rather than divide it. Two-thirds said the speech made them feel proud, though just a third said it made them feel safer. Fewer said the speech made them feel angry or scared,” admits CBS.
The positive feedback gives the President more political capital as the government sets its sights on tackling immigration reform, a hot-button issue last addressed in the 1970s.
Trump outlined his vision for overhauling the nation’s outdated immigration system Tuesday night, saying he was prepared to provide a “pathway to citizenship” for nearly 2 million ‘Dreamers’ in exchange for billions in border wall funding.
