HER TOO? High-Profile Sexual Assault Activist ACCUSED of HARASSING Male Staffer

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.09.18

A prominent Californian politician at the center of the growing #MeToo movement is now the subject of a widening sexual misconduct investigation, following reports she harassed and “groped” a male staffer while working in the State Assembly.

California Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia, an outspoken sexual harassment activist and nationwide figure in the #MeToo movement, is under fire over new allegations she inappropriately grabbed and verbally harassed a 25-year old male staffer employed by one of her legislative colleagues.

“He said she cornered him alone after the annual Assembly softball game in Sacramento as he attempted to clean up the dugout,” writes Politico. “[The staffer], who said Garcia appeared inebriated, said she began stroking his back, then squeezed his buttocks and attempted to touch his crotch before he extricated himself and quickly left.

Shortly after the staffer went public, others came forward accusing the California politician of inappropriate behavior.

“Hypocrisy knows no bounds and no partisanship, it crosses all party affiliations,’’ said Jessica Levinson, a professor of political ethics at Loyola Law School in California. “To the extent that these are substantiated claims, there’s a picture of Cristina Garcia as a hypocrite in the dictionary.”

DOJ DISGRACE: Dept. of Justice RIPS Obama Administration Over Sex Harassment

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.27.17

The Department of Justice slammed the Obama administration on Wednesday, citing recent evidence that highlighted “systemic” sexual harassment reports that were largely ignored throughout the agency for the previous eight years.

According to Fox News, the DOJ’s Inspector General discovered evidence that former officials throughout the Justice Department had mishandled multiple reports of sexual harassment; including “officials often being let off the hook or even rewarded.”

While a spokesperson for the Trump administration refused to comment on the situation, he did confirm that a “working group” has been convened to investigate the report.

“The Post reported that the IG found one top attorney in the Office of Immigration Litigation, Victor Lawrence, ‘groped the breasts and buttocks of two female trial attorneys’ at a happy hour,” writes Fox. “He reportedly got a reprimand, a title change and “relief from supervisory duties” but was not suspended and did not receive a loss in pay or grade. There reportedly was a concern that a suspension would “deprive the government” of his services.”

“'[T]he Department was very disappointed with the issues that occurred in the Obama administration,” said DOJ spokesperson Ian Prior.

HILLARY'S DENIAL: Clinton FINALLY RESPONDS to 2008 Sexual Harassment Scandal

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.29.18

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton finally responded to a bombshell report that the twice-failed nominee had shielded a senior aide from accusations of sexual misconduct during her 2008 presidential campaign; keeping the man on staff for months despite her aides’ recommendations he should be removed.

Last week, the New York Times published an exposé highlighting Clinton’s role in protecting senior advisor Burns Strider after he was accused of harassing a female subordinate, ignoring campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle and others who urged her to fire Strider.

Clinton broke her silence on the issue over the weekend, saying she was “dismayed” when the incident occurred but insisted the accuser “was heard, and had her concerns taken seriously and addressed.”

Clinton’s hypocritical comments come just months after she publicly denounced longtime friend and Democratic mega-donor Harvey Weinstein in the wake of multiple sexual harassment scandals.

“I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein,” said Clinton last October. “The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.”
