HERE WE GO: House Democrat Calls on Congress to LOWER VOTING AGE to 16

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.13.18

A New York Congresswoman introduced new legislation this week that would lower the United States voting age to just 16-years-old; urging her fellow lawmakers to repeal the 26th amendment to the Constitution that sets the current restrictions.

According to the Washington Examiner, Rep. Grace Meng is hoping to lift the age requirements that were introduced nationwide in 1971.

“The 26th Amendment was the result of decades of argument that anyone old enough to be drafted to fight in the military at age 18 should also be able to vote. Support for that idea picked up steam during the Vietnam war,” writes the Examiner. “Because the Supreme Court ruled that Congress cannot regulate voting age in state and local elections, the Constitution was amended in 1971 to hold that 18-year-olds could vote nationwide.”

The liberal lawmaker is the latest example of left-wing activists seeking to gain new voters by any means necessary.

Last week, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced his newest “voter registration drive” throughout the Big Apple’s prison system.

A NEW LOW: Liberal Ad Shows 'Racist' GOP Voters MOWING DOWN Minority Kids

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.15.17

A left-leaning Hispanic voting organization stood by their shocking new advertisement on Tuesday; doubling-down on a vicious campaign video that showed a random GOP voter intentionally mowing down minority children in his Confederate-flag adorned pick-up truck.

The stunning video, titled “American Nightmare,” was released by the Latino Victory Fund and shows groups of minority children fleeing a marauding supporter of GOP Virginia gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie; chasing his would-be victims in a “confederate” truck with a “Don’t tread on me” license plate.

Virginia Democrat candidate Ralph Northam defended the video on Tuesday, saying Gillespie’s own rhetoric forced the liberal organization to create the ad.

“Independent groups are denouncing Ed Gillespie because he has run the most divisive, fear-mongering campaign in modern history,” Northam campaign spokeswoman Ofirah Yheskel told Fox News. “It is not shocking that communities of color are scared of what his Trump-like policy positions mean for them.”

BLUE WAVE CRASHING: New Report Shows DEMS STRUGGLING with Hispanic Voters

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.07.18

The media’s over-hyped “blue wave” predicted for this November may hit an “unexpected speed bump” heading into the midterm elections, with new polls showing the Democrats struggling to capture the Hispanic vote.

According to a new study, a “growing number of Democratic strategists are privately concerned” that the soaring US economy, higher wages, and record-low Hispanic unemployment may be turning once-liberal supporters towards the GOP.

“Democrats have hit an unexpected speed bump in their drive to regain control of Congress: unsettling signs that the party may not generate as much turnout or support among Latino voters this fall as it expected,” writes the report.

“I still think it’s a little too soon to push the panic button, but having said that, we are not seeing the types of numbers with Hispanic voters that we should be seeing with the most hostile person to ever hold public office against Hispanics as the President,” said one Democratic pollster.
