IRAN ON EDGE: Iran’s Hardline Regime on the Brink of COLLAPSE

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.05.18

Despite desperate attempts to crackdown on the deadly protests sweeping across Iran in recent days, the Iranian regime is slowly losing its grip on power; with regional experts predicting the hardline government’s days may be numbered.

Tehran quickly clamped-down as student-led protests shocked the Mullahs and other top government officials; the largest demonstrations against the Islamic Republic since 2009’s “Green Movement” or “Twitter Revolution.”

“At some point the Islamic Republic’s luck presumably runs out.”

Military analysts believe the Ayatollah is struggling to maintain his stranglehold on the nation, saying, “At some point the Islamic Republic’s luck presumably runs out.”

“[The demonstrations have] morphed into basically a youth protest against the system writ large, and it all goes back to the clerics’ monopoly on power,” said Kenneth Katzman, a senior analyst of Iranian affairs for the US Congressional Research Service.

The protests began as a reaction against the brutal regime’s mismanagement of government funds, scarce job opportunities, and low wages, but has transformed into a nationwide protest demanding women’s rights and more liberal freedoms.

So far, at least 21 people have been killed and nearly 500 have been arrested.

IRAN ON EDGE: Supreme Leader LASHES OUT at ‘Enemies’ as Iran Crumbles

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.02.18

Iran’s Supreme Leader lashed-out at “enemies” of the Islamic Republic on Tuesday; accusing outside forces of “meddling” in Iranian politics as protests sweep the nation and the death toll rises to at least 20, reports Fox News.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei blasted the “enemies of Iran” on his official website this week, following a weekend of deadly demonstrations throughout the country; the greatest show of defiance against the Iranian regime since the “Twitter Revolution” of 2009.

“Hundreds of people have been arrested and a prominent judge on Tuesday warned that some could face death penalty trials,” writes Fox. “In comments posted to his official website, Khamenei appeared to blame foreign nations for at least exacerbating the unrest gripping Iran.”

“In the recent days’ incidents, enemies of Iran utilized various means — including money, weapons, politics and intelligence apparatuses — to create problems for the Islamic system,” said Khamenei.

On New Year’s Day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu extended his support to the Iranian protesters, wishing them “success in their noble quest for freedom.”

BOMBSHELL: Obama SECRETLY Protected TERROR GROUP to Appease Iran

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.19.17

A bombshell report published in Politico this week outlines the Obama administration’s secret efforts to let terror-group Hezbollah “off the hook” in an effort to appease Tehran ahead of the Iranian nuclear agreement.

The explosive report, titled “The Secret Backstory of How Obama Let Hezbollah Off the Hook” shows President Obama’s covert decision to back-off an American law enforcement crackdown on Hezbollah, even as the Jihadi network “funneled Cocaine into the United States” to finance its efforts.

“In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States,” writes Politico.

“Obama administration officials threw an increasingly insurmountable series of roadblocks in its way, according to interviews with dozens of participants who in many cases spoke for the first time about events shrouded in secrecy,” the author adds.

Hezbollah is a militant, anti-Israeli terror organization based in Lebanon and backed by the Iranian regime. Iran uses the network as a launching pad for attacks against Israeli soldiers stationed near the Lebanese border.

Hezbollah and Israel waged a direct war against each other during the 2006 Israeli-Lebanon War.
