IRONY ALERT: Hillary Says Only Democrats Can Restore 'CIVILITY' to DC

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.09.18

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took her all-out war against Republicans to the next level this week; saying “civility” can only return to Washington if Democrats retake control of Congress this fall.

Clinton was speaking with CNN when she bizarrely slammed the GOP for actively “destroying” what progressives and liberal activists “care about.”

“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe if we’re fortunate enough to win back the House or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again,” said Clinton.

“Until then, the only thing that Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength… I remember what they did to me for 25 years,” she added.

ANOTHER EXCUSE: Politico Blames Hillary's ELECTION DISASTER On... Local Newspapers?

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.09.18

Online magazine Politico achieved the impossible this weekend, finding a completely new excuse for Hillary Clinton’s surprise defeat to Donald Trump in November 2016; this time blaming “newspaper subscriptions” for the electoral landslide.

Politico published an article Sunday titled, “Trump thrives in areas that lack traditional news outlets,” suggesting the President was able to “Swamp Clinton” in areas that had low subscription rates to local newspapers.

The data suggests those voters relied on national news outlets and social media for information instead of more traditional media outlets such as newspapers and local television reports.

“President Donald Trump’s attacks on the mainstream media may be rooted in statistical reality: An extensive review of subscription data and election results shows that Trump outperformed the previous Republican nominee, Mitt Romney, in counties with the lowest numbers of news subscribers, but didn’t do nearly as well in areas with heavier circulation,” writes the author.

“The results show a clear correlation between low subscription rates and Trump’s success in the 2016 election, both against Hillary Clinton and when compared to Romney in 2012,” adds the article.

BERNIE’S BACK? Campaign Manager Says Sanders ‘Considering’ Run in 2020

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.29.18

Bernie Sander’s former campaign manager told reporters Tuesday the Vermont Senator is actively considering a run for the White House against Donald Trump in 2020; setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown within the Democratic Party.

According to Yahoo News, former campaign manager Jeff Weaver confirmed the ultra-liberal legislator was weighing another run for the Oval Office, saying “He is considering another run for the presidency.”

“And when the time comes, I think we’ll have an answer to that, but right now, he’s still considering it,” he added.

Weaver’s comments come two years after Senator Sanders was defeated by Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Democratic primary season; with many critics claiming Clinton “rigged” the election away from the Vermont Senator.

“Anybody who follows Bernie Sanders for one day and sees his schedule, and how rigorous it is, and how he drives everybody around him, works them into the ground with the amount of work and energy he has, I think they would understand that his chronological age is just not really a measure of his true age,” Weaver said. “[He] is an extremely energetic and vigorous person, and has more energy, I would say, than people half his age.”
