IT’S OFFICIAL: Second Summit Between Trump, Kim Jong Un Scheduled for February

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.18.19

The White House confirmed President Trump will hold a second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un Friday; following a high-level meeting with Kim’s delegation inside the Oval Office.

“President Donald J. Trump met with Kim Yong Chol for an hour and a half, to discuss denuclearization and a second summit, which will take place near the end of February. The President looks forward to meeting with Chairman Kim at a place to be announced at a later date,” the White House said in a statement.

“The face-to-face came after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with Kim Yong-chol, North Korea’s lead negotiator, in the nation’s capital early Friday morning to negotiate terms that could lead to a second nuclear summit between Trump and Pyongyang leader Kim Jong-un,” writes Fox News.

“They will discuss relations between the two countries and continued progress on North Korea’s final, fully verified denuclearization,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.19.18

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was back in Beijing this week, speaking with Chinese officials over his historic summit with President Trump and the possible denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

Kim traveled to Beijing Tuesday to meet with President Xi Jinping in their first face-to-face meeting since the Singapore Summit; making the trip his third visit to China this year.

“Trump agreed to work with Kim toward complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, committed to provide the North with security guarantees and pledged to end ‘war games’ with South Korea, which North Korea and China have long seen as provocative,” writes the New York Post.

“We hope this visit can help to further deepen China-North Korea relations, strengthen strategic communication between both countries on important issues and promote regional peace and stability,” said a spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry.

The Beast Southern Kitchen -for example- is selling $23 hamburgers that combine American and Korean flavors.

“The American half of the burger includes fried mac and cheese burger ‘buns’ with a beef patty, bacon jam and barbecue sauce, while the Korean half has deep-fried kimchi rice buns, bulgogi beef patty, caramelized onions and creamy garlic sauce,” writes the restaurant.

“Some Korean people who came … love the kimchi a lot and others [are] saying that the portion is so huge. Why so big? I say because it’s the American version, it’s the American portion,” said another owner.
