JORDAN DEFIANT: Jim Jordan Vows to ‘CALL VOTE OF IMPEACHMENT’ Against Rosenstein

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.30.18

GOP Rep. Jim Jordan publicly defied Speaker of the House Paul Ryan Sunday, saying he will “call the vote for the impeachment of Rod Rosenstein” should the Deputy Attorney General continue to stonewall congressional investigations.

Jordan made the pledge during an interview over the weekend, pushing aside Rep. Ryan’s insistence that GOP legislators back-away from impeachment threats against Jeff Sessions’ second-in-command at the DOJ.

“If they don’t give us the documents, if they don’t give us information that we as a separate and equal branch of government are entitled to have in order to get answers for the American people, then we will actually call the vote for the impeachment of Rod Rosenstein,” said Jordan.

“The DOJ is keeping information from Congress. Enough is enough. It’s time to hold Mr. Rosenstein accountable for blocking Congress’s constitutional oversight role,” he added in a written statement.

IT'S OFFICIAL: Rep. Jim Jordan Announces Bid for SPEAKER of the House

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.26.18

Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan officially announced his bid to become the next Speaker of the House Thursday; hoping to replace Rep. Paul Ryan should Congressional Republicans retain control of the House this fall.

“Should the American people entrust us with the majority again in the 116th Congress, I plan to run for Speaker of the House to bring real change to the House of Representatives,” Jordan said in a statement.

“President Trump has taken bold action on behalf of the American people. Congress has not held up its end of the deal, but we can change that. It’s time to do what we said,” he added.

Jordan will likely face an uphill battle against Rep. Kevin McCarthy, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, and others.

“I do not want to see Nancy to come back as speaker,” said McCarthy earlier this year. “I want the next speaker to come from California, but I don’t want it to be Nancy. I want it to be me.”

CONSPIRACY: GOP Lawmakers Says FEDERAL CONSPIRACY to Prevent Trump Presidency

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.20.17

As the GOP chorus calling for the removal of special counsel Robert Mueller continues to grow, one Republican lawmaker took his fight against the Department of Justice one step further, saying there was a widespread conspiracy throughout the federal government to “prevent” Donald Trump from taking the Oval Office.

Following recent revelations of widespread anti-Trump bias throughout the FBI and senior agents discussing an “insurance policy” should Trump win, GOP legislator Jim Jordan believes the federal government was intentionally working against Donald Trump’s bid for the White House during the 2016 election.

“I think they were putting together a plan to stop Donald Trump from being the next President of the United States,” said Jordan.

“From what we learned several weeks ago, that they paid for the dossier. I believe that fake dossier was used as the basis to get warrants, to now what we’ve learned about Peter Strzok […] Everything points to the fact that there was an orchestrated plan to try to prevent Donald Trump from being the next President of the United States,” he added.

Peter Strzok and other FBI officials made national headlines earlier this month after the public release of private text exchanges, where senior bureau agents were secretly sending anti-Trump messages to others involved in Robert Mueller’s investigation.
