JUST BLEW IT: Nike Releases Controversial Kaepernick ‘SACRIFICE EVERYTHING’ Commercial

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.05.18

Nike officially unveiled its controversial ad campaign Wednesday featuring former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick; featuring the infamous anthem protester saying “believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.”

“If people say your dreams are crazy, if they laugh at what you think you can do: Good. Stay that way. What non-believers fail to understand is that calling your dreams crazy is not an insult, it’s a compliment,” says Kaepernick.

“Don’t believe you have to be like anybody to be somebody… Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything,” he adds.

HANNITY TO NIKE: This is What REAL SACRIFICE Looks Like

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.05.18

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Tuesday night, Sean took a minute to remind Nike executives what “real sacrifice” looks like after the iconic brand named Colin Kaepernick as the face of its new ad campaign.

“Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick […] famously refused to stand for the national anthem during the games. Nike is now using Kaepernick to headline its new ad campaign: ‘Believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything,’” said Hannity.

“I’d like to take a moment to remind Nike executives that ‘sacrificing everything’ is not a multi-millionaire, social justice warrior whose greatest feat of bravery is kneeling on a football field,” he added. “Those who sacrifice everything can be found on the ground in Afghanistan as we speak.”

NF HELL: Colin Kaepernick to Receive 'Muhammad Ali' Award

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.05.17

Colin Kaepernick, the infamous out-of-work quarterback who inspired months of player protests during the national anthem, has been awarded the highly-prized ‘Muhammad Ali Legacy Award’ by Sports Illustrated, the magazine announced on Thursday.

“Colin Kaepernick made his truth known when he first decided not to stand for the national anthem. He had a lot of football left to play and a lot more money to make when he made his decision,” writes Sports Illustrated. “It is his truth. He has not wavered from it. He does not regret speaking it. He has caused millions of people to examine it. And, quietly, he has donated nearly a million dollars to support it.”

“For all those reasons—for his steadfastness in the fight for social justice, for his adherence to his beliefs no matter the cost—Colin Kaepernick is the recipient of the 2017 Sports Illustrated Muhammad Ali Legacy Award,” added the author.

Kaepernick’s pick for the award will further alienate angry fans who view months of player protests as un-American and disrespectful to the men and women who have fought and died for the United States.

The ensuing controversy, brought to the media forefront by President Trump, has cost the NFL and television networks upwards of $500 million in lost revenue.

“Like Muhammad, Colin is a man who stands on his convictions with confidence and courage, undaunted by the personal sacrifices he has had to make to have his message heard. And he has used his celebrity and philanthropy to the benefit of some of our most vulnerable community members,” said Lonnie Ali, Muhammad’s widow.
