LONDON FALLING: Britain Tackles SOCIAL MEDIA as Murder Rates Skyrocket

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.21.18

The United Kingdom is settings its sights on the “wild west elements” of the internet this week; unveiling new legislation that cracks down on cyber bullying as Britain’s crime rates continue to soar.

According to Yahoo News, UK legislators are poised to reveal new guidelines that seek to clampdown on bullying, child exploitation, and other threats posed by social media platforms across the country.

Britain’s Digital Minister Matt Hancock said the guidelines will help UK-based companies comply with harsh restriction, but was unclear on what penalties they would face should they violate the regulations.

“Digital technology is overwhelmingly a force for good across the world and we must always champion innovation and change for the better,” Hancock said in a statement.

“At the same time I have been clear that we have to address the Wild West elements of the Internet through legislation, in a way that supports innovation. We strongly support technology companies to start up and grow, and we want to work with them to keep our citizens safe.”

The announcement comes as the UK murder rate reaches unprecedented levels; spiking over 40% in just three years as London’s homicides top New York City’s for the first time in recorded history.

LONDON FALLING: Murder Spree in UK CAPITAL Continues, 50 DEAD in 2018

A man in his mid-twenties was brutally stabbed to death in North London Wednesday night, bringing the British capital’s murder rate to over 50 people since the beginning of 2018 and raising serious security questions throughout the United Kingdom.

According to the Telegraph, the unidentified man was found “fatally wounded” by the Metropolitan Police Department in London’s Hackney neighborhood shortly after 8pm.

“In the same borough just hours earlier a man in his 50s died outside a bookmakers in Upper Clapton Road following a suspected fight,” writes the Telegraph. “The attack has added to the UK’s soaring rate of knife crime, with fatal stabbings in England and Wales at their highest levels since 2010/11.”

The stabbing death comes just days after two teenagers were killed in similar attacks in the country’s largest city.

The shocking tally means the murder rate in London has risen by 40% in just three years; the stark opposite to New York City’s crime statistics which have fallen by nearly 90% since Mayor Rudolph Giuliani’s harsh crackdown in the 1990s.

LONDON FALLING: Socialist Protesters Take to the STREETS in UK Capital

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.01.18

Thousands of socialist protesters took to the streets of London during Tuesday’s ‘May Day’ demonstrations; marching into Trafalgar Square holding communist flags and portraits of Russian dictator Joseph Stalin.

According to the Daily Mail, the widespread demonstrations were organized by United Voices of the World and the International Workers Union of Great Britain; sending a clear message to British leaders over widespread unhappiness with the current political climate and worker’s conditions.

“The action, marking International Workers’ Day, which dates back to the early days of the trade union movement, coincided with a strike by some staff at McDonald’s over pay and union recognition,” writes the Mail. “Hundreds of employees assembled in London’s Trafalgar Square before taking part in a number of protests in the capital.”

“The links we are building between precarious workers – migrant workers, sex workers, workers on zero hours facing victimisation for union activity – could be the next stage of a desperately needed new movement against exploitation,” said a union representative.
