MANHUNT OVER: Waffle House SHOOTER in Police Custody

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.23.18

A 36-hour manhunt ended Monday afternoon without a major incident after police successfully apprehended the suspect behind a deadly shooting at a Waffle House restaurant over the weekend.

The Nashville Metro Police Department confirmed that 29-year old Travis Reinking was in police custody after his late-night rampage took the lives of four people.

More than 160 officers took part in the region-wide manhunt.

“Reinking drove to the busy restaurant on Sunday and killed two people in the parking lot before entering and continuing to fire, police said. When his AR-15 rifle either jammed or the clip was empty, the customer disarmed him in a scuffle. Four people were also wounded before the gunman fled, throwing off his jacket,” writes Fox News.

Local law enforcement also confirmed that Reinking led police on an hour-long chase days before the shooting following reports of a stolen BMW in the area.

More information as it becomes available.

BETTE GOES BERSERK: Midler Says ‘F*** YOU’ to GOP Following Deadly SCHOOL SHOOTING

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.15.18

Famed musician and actress Bette Midler went berserk on GOP lawmakers and Mitch McConnell in particular Thursday afternoon; slamming the Republican leader after he offered “the prayers of the whole Senate” to those injured in Wednesday’s school shooting in Florida.

The A-list celebrity lashed-out at McConnell on twitter for his heartwarming comments, saying “F*** you & your worthless thoughts and prayers,” after accusing the GOP leadership of putting campaign donations over the lives of American students.

“F*** you & your worthless thoughts and prayers; you & your obfuscating shills got what you wanted, $$$, while our kids get to die in school,” she posted.

Midler was responding to a tweet from the Senate Majority Leader earlier in the day.

“Schools should be places where children can learn, and faculty and staff can work, without fear of violence. My colleagues from Florida will carry home the prayers of the whole Senate, for victims and their families, for the community of Parkland, and for the first responders,” he wrote.

BROWARD BOMBSHELL: Deputy TOLD POLICE to 'STAY AWAY' from High School During Shooting

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.09.18

The disgraced Sheriff’s Deputy who maintained a “defensive position” and refused to enter the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School during last month’s mass shooting reportedly told fellow officers to “stay away” from the building; instructing them to remain at least 500 feet back as people lay dying.

According to the Miami Herald, Deputy Scot Peterson told the Broward County Sheriff’s Department, “Do not approach the 12 or 1300 building, stay at least 500 feet away.” Newly released audiotape of police scanners confirm Peterson’s comments; with screams heard in the background as the shooting unfolded.

The records confirm Peterson was well aware that the incident was occurring inside the building; directly refuting his claims he believed the gunman was last seen near the football field.

“It certainly backs up that he never went into the school,” said the president of the Broward County Sheriff’s police union. “At one point he says to keep back 500 feet. Why would he say that?”

Peterson became the center of a media firestorm after reports emerged he refused to enter the building as the carnage unfolded; allowing 19-year old Nikolas Cruz to kill 17 people and injure dozens more without confrontation.
