McCAIN’S MUTINY: John McCain BLAMES TRUMP for Syria Chemical Attack

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.09.18

Maverick GOP Senator John McCain took his war of words with President Trump to the next level Sunday; slamming the Commander-in-Chief and saying his policies were partially responsible for the deadly chemical attack that stunned Syria over the weekend.

McCain released a statement on the devastating assault Sunday afternoon, claiming President Trump “emboldened” Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad by announcing his plans to draw-down the level of American troops operating in the region.

“President Trump last week signaled to the world that the United States would prematurely withdraw from Syria,” McCain said. “Bashar Assad and his Russian and Iranian backers have heard him, and emboldened by American inaction, Assad has reportedly launched another chemical attack against innocent men, women and children, this time in Douma.”

McCain’s comments come as the President warned those who use chemical weapons would pay a “high price” for the war crime; publicly blaming Russia and Iran for allowing the “Animal Assad” to slaughter Syrian civilians.

McCAIN’S MUTINY: McCain BLASTS FISA Memo, Says Mueller Probe ‘MUST PROCEED’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.02.18

Maverick GOP Senator John McCain joined the mainstream media and liberal legislators on Friday, blasting the recently released FISA memo and baselessly claiming President Trump and his GOP colleagues were “serving Putin’s” interest.

The Senator released the official statement on his website within hours of the document’s disclosure, saying the “latest attacks on the FBI and Department of Justice” do little to advance the intelligence community as they struggle to defend against Putin’s “cyberattacks.”

“In 2016, the Russian government engaged in an elaborate plot to interfere in an American election and undermine our democracy,” he writes. “Putin’s regime launched cyberattacks and spread disinformation with the goal of sowing chaos and weakening faith in our institutions.”

“The latest attacks on the FBI and Department of Justice serve no American interests – no party’s, no president’s, only Putin’s,” he added. “The American people deserve to know all of the facts surrounding Russia’s ongoing efforts to subvert our democracy, which is why Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation must proceed unimpeded.”

McCAIN’S MUTINY: McCain Pushes NEW IMMIGRATION BILL to KILL Border Wall Funding

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.05.18

‘Maverick’ GOP Senator John McCain and Democrat Senator Chris Coons plan to unveil a revised immigration bill Monday afternoon; providing a pathway to citizenship for ‘Dreamers’ but omitting funding for President Trump’s signature campaign promise: The Border Wall.

The new legislation reportedly grants citizenship to those protected under former President Barack Obama’s recently rescinded DACA policy -estimated to be anywhere between 700,000 and 1.8 million people- but neglects addressing the President’s key immigration issues such as “chain migration” or the “Visa lottery.”

Most notably, the proposed bill fails to fund the President’s barrier along the nation’s southern border with Mexico.

President Trump has routinely stated there can be “no deal on DACA” that does not include “strong border security and the desperately needed wall.”

“Any deal on DACA that does not include STRONG border security and the desperately needed WALL is a total waste of time. March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Dems seem not to care about DACA. Make a deal!” tweeted the President earlier Monday.
