MEDIA MALPRACTICE: The ‘Definitive List’ of 67 Media Mistakes in the Trump Era

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.22.19

Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson published a hit-list of massive media mistakes in the Trump era this week; highlighting 67 notable examples of total malpractice by major networks and newspapers since the president’s inauguration.

“We the media have ‘fact-checked’ President Trump like we have fact-checked no other human being on the planet—and he’s certainly given us plenty to write about,” writes Attkisson.

“We defend ourselves by trying to convince the public that our mistakes are actually a virtue because we (sometimes) correct them. Or we blame Trump for why we’re getting so much wrong. It’s a little bit like a police officer taking someone to jail for DUI, then driving home drunk himself: he may be correct to arrest the suspect, but he should certainly know better than to commit the same violation,” she adds.

Attkisson’s list of notable mistakes include reporting on Trump’s taxes, immigration policy, and more.

MEDIA MELTDOWN: CNN Article Compares JOURNALISTS to US Soldiers, Veterans

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.07.18

CNN found itself in hot-water among US soldiers and veterans over the weekend, publishing a story that compared America’s journalists to those who have fought and died defending our freedoms.

The article, titled “The press isn’t the enemy, it’s the protector” was written by Joseph Holt and appeared on the network’s site Friday; urging Americans to “thank” reporters the same way they praise members of the military.

“We thank soldiers for their service because they devote themselves to protecting our freedoms, and we should. But we should also thank the media for the same reason — especially when the stakes have never been higher,” writes Holt.

Criticism of the article went viral on social media within minutes, with a reporter for the Daily Caller calling the story “disgraceful” and “minimizing the true sacrifice of our armed forces.”

LIBERAL BREAKDOWN: Cory Booker Cries ‘TEARS OF RAGE’ Over Trump’s Tough Talk

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.16.18

Liberal New Jersey Senator Cory Booker had a full-fledged meltdown in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, telling his colleagues that he “hurts” and “cried tears of rage” after hearing President Trump’s “tough talk” regarding the ongoing immigration debate.

The left-wing legislator –and possible 2020 presidential contender- went nuclear on the Senate floor this week, screaming at his fellow lawmakers and saying “when Dick Durbin called me I had tears of rage when I heard about his experience in this meeting.”

“I hurt… For you not to feel that hurt and that pain and to dismiss some of the questions of my colleagues saying, ‘I’ve already answered that line of questions’ when tens of millions of Americans are hurting right now because of what they’re worried about what happened in the White House… that’s unacceptable to me,” Booker screamed.

Booker’s comments are the latest example of the mainstream media and liberal lawmakers total meltdown over President Trump’s “tough dialogue” in regards to immigration reform.

Trump has routinely called for a merit-based immigration system, the end to the “visa lottery” and “chain migration,” and has pledged their can be no agreement on DACA without fully funding a border wall.
