The recent winner of the Michigan Democratic primary vowed Tuesday she would “absolutely” vote against financial aid to Israel; saying the Jewish State routinely attacks “the unarmed” and discriminates based on “skin color.”
Liberal candidate Rashida Tlaib slammed Netanyahu’s government during a recent interview, saying financial aid from the United States government should be used “as leverage” to stop Israeli Forces from defending its citizens against Hamas attacks in Gaza.
“U.S. aid should be leverage,” she said. “If you’re going to be a country that discriminates on somebody solely based on their faith, solely based on their skin color … to me, that doesn’t fit our value of our country.”
“I will be using my position as a member of Congress to say no country, not one, should be able to get aid from us, the American people -who talk about justice and equality and stopping discrimination- to say a country can come and get aid from us when they still promote that kind of injustice that I saw in Detroit,” she added.

BLUE WAVE CRASHING: Democrat Advantage TUMBLES Ahead of 2018 Midterms
The Democratic Party’s national advantage over their Republican opponents continued to collapse this week; shrinking to four percentage points after double-digit leads just months ago.
A recent survey by CBS News shows the liberal advantage largely evaporating ahead of the 2018 midterms, with 36 percent of those asked saying the GOP should retain control of Congress and 40% hoping for a left-wing “blue wave” in November.
The shrinking advantage and surprising poll numbers were conducted after the President’s “zero tolerance” policy on illegal immigration made national headlines, with the Commander-in-Chief urging Congress to find a permanent solution to the escalating border crisis.
“CBS’s poll, which sampled 2,063 adults between June 21-22, 2018 and has a margin of error of 2.6 percent, also shows there are a significant number of Trump supporters who opposed the zero-tolerance policy but did not hold the president responsible. The results also suggest voters are compartmentalizing the issue,” writes the Daily Caller.

BLUE WAVE CRASHING: Democrat Edge EVAPORATES Heading into Summer
The Democrats’ double-digit lead continued to crash and burn this week, with new polls showing the GOP has either erased the liberal advantage or is actually beating their left-wing opponents on generic ballots.
The lead -once as high as 18 points- is all but gone on ballots asking voters if they preferred Democrats or Republicans; raising serious questions about the overly-hyped “blue wave” expected to sweep Congress this fall.
Late last year, Liberal Congressman Ted Lieu warned of a Democrat “megatsunami” heading into the midterm.
I learned a new word today: Megatsunami. As in, the 18 point lead Dems have in the generic ballot point to a Democratic #Megatsunami next November. https://t.co/gl5xSigoz4

Those predictions may turn out to be little more than wishful thinking, with a new Reuters poll showing Republicans enjoying a 2% edge over their Democratic opponents.
Say good-bye to the D-advantage in the generic ballot. Our latest Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that registered voters as likely to support Republicans as Democrats. @ReutersPolitics https://t.co/0ZIVVs6Zqc pic.twitter.com/rLIHL7jPRl
