MUELLER'S EXCUSES: Manafort Judge DELAYS Testimony After Special Counsel COMPLAINS

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.10.18

The fiery judge presiding over the special counsel’s tax fraud case against former Trump campaign Chairman Paul Manafort suddenly delayed new testimony Friday, following a strong “push back” form Mueller’s team.

“Judge T.S. Ellis III mysteriously delayed testimony Friday in the case of ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, pushing off the day’s proceedings for hours after prosecutors once again complained about his criticism of them,” writes Fox News. “It’s not clear if the delay is connected to the complaint filed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team.”

Robert Mueller’s legal team filed a motion against Ellis Friday morning, claiming the judge was “unfairly criticizing them” in front of the jury, adding it may impact their final decision.

“Mueller deputy Andrew Weissmann and other attorneys on the team specifically noted how Ellis made negative comments this week about their focus on a bank loan Manafort applied for but did not receive,” writes Fox.

MANAFORT STRIKES BACK: Former Trump Aide SUES DOJ, Mueller, Rosenstein

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.03.18

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is fighting back against the Department of Justice and the special counsel’s office; suing the DOJ, Robert Mueller, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein over allegations they overstepped their boundaries while investigating whether Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election.

The paperwork claims that the special counsel’s office intentionally targeted Manafort, eventually indicting him on charges that are completely unrelated to allegations the Trump campaign “colluded” with Russia to steal the election from Hillary Clinton.

“The investigation of Mr. Manafort is completely unmoored from the Special Counsel’s original jurisdiction to investigate ‘any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump,’” the complaint states.

“It has instead focused on unrelated, decade-old business dealings—specifically, Ukraine political campaign consulting activities of Mr. Manafort.”

“The actions of DOJ and Mr. Rosenstein in issuing the Appointment Order, and Mr. Mueller’s actions pursuant to the authority the Order granted him, were arbitrary, capricious, and not in accordance with the law,” adds the court filings.

The former campaign chairman was indicted in late October on a dozen counts related to illegal financial transfers and business dealings, and have yielded zero connections to the President or those closest to him.

HANNITY: Manafort Case ‘HAS NOTHING TO DO’ with Russia Collusion, President Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.01.18

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Tuesday night, Sean called-out the mainstream media’s hysterical coverage of the Paul Manafort trial; adding these charges have “nothing to do” with President Trump or Russia collusion.

“If you tuned into Fake News CNN you’d think this was the trial of the century, OJ Simpson all over again. Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort now facing charges over an alleged tax evasion and money laundering dating back to 2005 and 2007,” said Hannity.

“These charges have nothing to do at all with the President. These charges have nothing to do with Russian collusion. I’ll be shocked if Russia is mentioned once in this trial. The mainstream media is on high-alert for the smoking gun against Donald Trump,” he added.
