MUELLER’S MESS: ‘Missing Document’ from Mueller's Office Could Derail Flynn Sentencing

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.17.18

The “apparent omission” of a central document from special counsel Robert Mueller’s recent court filing threatens to derail Tuesday’s sentencing of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, reports Fox News.

“U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan had ordered the special counsel to turn over all government documents and ‘memoranda’ related to the questioning of Flynn, after his attorneys claimed the FBI had discouraged him from bringing a lawyer to his fateful Jan. 24, 2017 interview with agents at the White House. He eventually pleaded guilty to making false statements about his contacts with Russia’s ambassador, in connection with that meeting,” writes Fox.

Mueller met the judge’s Friday deadline, but failed to include the original 302 interview document; instead filing a 302 that was created seven months after Flynn’s initial interview.

“Judge Sullivan has a well-established history of taking on discovery issues head-on,” said a former DOJ official. “So providing a seven-month-old FBI 302 is absolutely going to be a red flag for the judge, and I can’t imagine there are not going to be questions tomorrow about whether there are contemporaneous notes, or a contemporaneous report, that is in the FBI’s possession.”

COMEY CONFUSION: Former FBI Boss Told Congress FLYNN DIDN’T LIE to Bureau

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.14.18

While Robert Mueller’s never-ending Trump investigation continues to spiral out of control, recent information is shedding new light on former advisor Michael Flynn’s testimony; with inside sources saying James Comey told Congressional leaders the bureau didn’t believe Flynn intentionally lied.

According to the Washington Examiner, “two sources” with inside knowledge of both Flynn’s conversations with the FBI as well as Comey’s testimony to Congress claim the former FBI chief told investigators that the bureau “did not believe” Flynn had either lied or was intentionally lying while speaking with agents.

“According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression that Flynn would not be charged with a crime pertaining to the Jan. 24 interview,” writes the Examiner.

Despite Comey’s assertions, Robert Mueller charged Flynn approximately nine months later with intentionally making false statements to the FBI during his January 24th questioning.

The revelation raises serious questions over why Flynn was charged, and whether Robert Mueller’s ongoing witch hunt is desperately searching for inroads into President Trump’s inner-circle.

CRACKS IN THE CASE: Mueller Probe UNDER FIRE from Federal Judges

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.07.18

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s never-ending investigation into Trump-Russia collusion is beginning to show cracks in the case, with two federal judges rebuking the ongoing probe as expanding well beyond its original “scope.”

Over the course of the last week, Mueller’s team has faced multiple legal challenges from two federal judges regarding the legal case against Paul Manafort as well as 13 Russian nationals accused of election meddling.

“You’re now using [that material] … as a means of persuading Mr. Manafort to provide information,” said U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III Friday, adding the special counsel’s office was hoping to bring about “prosecution or impeachment or whatever.”

Over the weekend, another judge blocked Mueller’s request to delay hearings surrounding 13 Russian nationals; asking for more time to follow additional leads.

The President weighed-in on the legal challenges Monday, saying Democrats are starting to learn that there is a “court system in place that actually protects people from injustice.”
