MUELLER’S MESS: The Special Counsel Given FRIDAY DEADLINE to Hand-Over Flynn Docs

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.14.18

The special counsel was given a Friday deadline this week to hand-over key documents relating to the FBI’s probe into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn; setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown just days before his sentencing.

“Special Counsel Robert Mueller faces a Friday afternoon deadline to turn over documents related to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s first interview with federal prosecutors, marking the latest twist in his turbulent prosecution dating back to his fateful Jan. 24, 2017 interview with agents at the White House,” writes Fox News.

The former Trump staffer’s legal team raised serious questions over James Comey’s handling of the Flynn probe after he claimed he was “pushed” into not having lawyers present during his interview.

Comey himself admitted in a recent interview that he broke protocol by sending two agents to the White House without informing the President’s general counsel.

COMEY CONFUSION: Former FBI Boss Told Congress FLYNN DIDN’T LIE to Bureau

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.14.18

While Robert Mueller’s never-ending Trump investigation continues to spiral out of control, recent information is shedding new light on former advisor Michael Flynn’s testimony; with inside sources saying James Comey told Congressional leaders the bureau didn’t believe Flynn intentionally lied.

According to the Washington Examiner, “two sources” with inside knowledge of both Flynn’s conversations with the FBI as well as Comey’s testimony to Congress claim the former FBI chief told investigators that the bureau “did not believe” Flynn had either lied or was intentionally lying while speaking with agents.

“According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression that Flynn would not be charged with a crime pertaining to the Jan. 24 interview,” writes the Examiner.

Despite Comey’s assertions, Robert Mueller charged Flynn approximately nine months later with intentionally making false statements to the FBI during his January 24th questioning.

The revelation raises serious questions over why Flynn was charged, and whether Robert Mueller’s ongoing witch hunt is desperately searching for inroads into President Trump’s inner-circle.

COMEY’S ADMISSION: Former FBI Boss Says He BROKE PROTOCOL During Michael Flynn Interview

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.13.18

Disgraced former FBI chief James Comey admitted this week that he broke standard procedure by sending two FBI agents to directly interview former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn at the White House; confirming “I sent them.”

“Former FBI Director James Comey admitted in a recent interview that he personally made the decision to send a pair of agents to interview President Trump’s national security adviser Michael Flynn in 2017, and acknowledged the arrangement was not typical for dealing with a White House official,” writes Fox News.

Comey went on to call the move “something I probably wouldn’t have done or maybe gotten away with in a more … organized administration.”

“If the FBI wanted to send agents into the White House itself to interview a senior official, you would work through the White House counsel, and there would be discussions and approvals and who would be there,” he added. “I thought: ‘It’s early enough, let’s just send a couple guys over.’”
