NFL CAVES: The National Football League ‘FREEZES’ Protest Ban as Players REVOLT

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.20.18

Just two months after announcing their unanimous decision to ban all player protests on the field, the National Football League is placing a temporary “freeze” on the new policy following a string of player complaints.

According to Yahoo News, the decision to hold-off on the ruling came after the Miami Dolphins announced that any player “taking a knee” during the US anthem would be suspended for four games.

The rule sparked a fierce backlash from the athletes.

“The NFL and NFLPA, through recent discussions, have been working on a resolution to the anthem issue. In order to allow this constructive dialogue to continue, we have come to a standstill agreement on the NFLPA’s grievance and on the NFL’s anthem policy. No new rules relating to the anthem will be issued or enforced for the next several weeks while these confidential discussions are ongoing,” said a statement from the NFL.

“The NFL and NFLPA reflect the great values of America, which are repeatedly demonstrated by the many players doing extraordinary work in communities across our country to promote equality, fairness and justice. Our shared focus will remain on finding a solution to the anthem issue through mutual, good faith commitments, outside of litigation,” added the release.

AMERICA’S GAME? NFL Blocks New AD MOCKING North Korean Dictator

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.03.18

The National Football League continues to struggle with patriotic fans and furious viewers as it heads into its iconic Super Bowl weekend; this time rejecting an advertisement poking fun at North Korean despot Kim Jong Un.

According to the Daily Caller, the ad takes a light-hearted jab at the brutal dictator, with an actor portraying Kim attempting -but failing- to steal AML BitCoin’s “crypto-currency” to highlight the digital cash’s security measures against foreign hackers.

Apparently, the advertisement was “too political” for the National Football League, which made headlines throughout the 2017 season for overt political demonstrations on the field.

“We have been informed by our media buyers that the network carrying the NFL’s Super Bowl game, NBC, will not accept our television ad ‘North Korea Can’t Steal AML BitCoin’ for placement during the broadcast.” AML Bitcoin president Marcus Andrade said.

“An ad taking Kim Jong-un, dictator of North Korea, to task in a humorous and biting way should not be offensive to anyone,” he added. “Our ad reminds viewers that Kim Jong-un and his army of hackers have been stealing billions of dollars of Bitcoin and other digital currencies for the past few years.”

The NFL’s rejection comes just days after the league angered patriotic fans when it refused to allow a veteran’s group to place a pro-American advertisement in the official Super Bowl program.

BAD APPLE: Bill De Blasio Trashes NFL’s ‘UN-AMERICAN’ Protest Ban

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.25.18

Hyper-liberal New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio predictably blasted the National Football League’s new rules regarding player protests Friday, calling NFL’s decision to ban the demonstrations “un-American.”

De Blasio was speaking with MSNBC when he slammed the owners’ unanimous decision to require all athletes to stand for the US national anthem or remain in the locker room, saying “it doesn’t make any sense.”

“Un-American. Just plain un-American,” said the Big Apple Mayor.

“It doesn’t make sense. You know, we would not tolerate it if any other employer said that their employees cannot express their beliefs. You know, right away you’d say violation of the First Amendment,” he added.

“I don’t understand why the owners think they can get away from this in any way, shape or form. But what they’re doing ultimately is simply bringing more attention to the cause of players, who are saying there’s an injustice that has to be addressed,” he concluded.

The President praised the NFL’s decision this week, saying they “did the right thing” and will hopefully regain fans lost during their disastrous 2017 season.
