NFL REVOLT: Players Planning ‘NEW PROTESTS’ After ‘Kneel’ Ban

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.24.18

Professional athletes of the National Football League are reportedly planning “new forms of protests” after the NFL changed their on-field guidelines; requiring all players to stand in a “dignified posture” during the US national anthem.

According to the Today Show, not all athletes are happy with the revised regulations, with one reporter saying some players are already discussing alternative methods of protesting that skirt the league’s new rules.

“I talked to a former NFL player yesterday who has said that players are already talking about other ways in which they can protest,” said Craig Melvin. “We’ll be talking about this for some time.”

The President weighed-in on the new rules Wednesday night, saying all players “must stand” during the anthem and praising NFL owners for “doing the right thing” in banning on-field protests.

END ZONE: Jobless NFL Star Says He’ll NO LONGER KNEEL During Anthem

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.23.18

An NFL star who pioneered “taking a knee” during the performance of the US national anthem at professional football games announced he plans to pursue a “different approach” heading into the 2018 season.

According to ESPN, Eric Reid -who spearheaded the protest alongside teammate Colin Kaepernick in 2016- said during a recent interview that he no longer intends to kneel during the performance of the ‘Star-Spangled Banner.’

“I’m not saying I’m going to stop being active because I won’t. I’m just going to consider different ways to be active, different ways to bring awareness to the issues of this country and improve on the issues happening in this country,” said Reid.

“I don’t think it will be in the form of protesting during the anthem. I say ‘during’ because it’s crazy that the narrative changed to we were ‘protesting the anthem,’ and that wasn’t the case. I think we’re going to take a different approach to how we’re going to be active,” he added.

Reid’s comments come more than a week into his search for a contract, with many team owners and officials opting to stay away from “controversial” players after a disastrous 2017 season.

DESPERATE: Mad Maxine Wants Trump Impeached for 'Racist' NFL Tweets

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.26.17

Crazed California Congresswoman Maxine Waters is again calling for the impeachment of President Trump; this time claiming the President’s support for the national anthem at NFL games is “racist” and “frightening.”

The firebrand liberal was speaking with MSNBC when she slammed President Trump’s calls for an NFL boycott over players who refuse to stand for the ‘Star-Spangled Banner,’ saying the President simply wants to make America “white” again.

“They play into racism, they do what every other President attempted not to do,” said Maxine. “He is about division. He is about signaling to that core group of his that this country that he wants to make great again is all about making it white, and is all about saying to them that your troubles, your problems are caused by those people.”

“He’s pointing now to the NFL, we know that the majority of these players are African-American, and we know what he is doing. We’re not tricked or fooled by him in any shape, form, or fashion,” she added. “Here he is strongly criticizing football players and NFL players. It’s clear, we know who he is.”

“I hope people understand it’s about all of this that he should not be the President of the United States of America and we have to get ready for impeachment,” said Waters.
