NO SURPRISES! Record Number of Americans Think ‘Government’ Biggest Problem Facing the Nation

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.18.19

A poll released by Gallup this week shed new light on Americans growing frustration with their federal government; showing a whopping 35% of those asked cited “government” is the biggest problem facing the nation.

“Thirty-five percent of Americans name the government, poor leadership or politicians as the greatest problem facing the U.S. This is the highest percentage Gallup has recorded for this concern, edging out the previous high of 33% during the 2013 federal government shutdown,” writes the survey.

“Gallup has asked Americans what they felt was the most important problem facing the country since 1939 and has regularly compiled mentions of the government since 1964. Prior to 2001, the highest percentage mentioning government was 26% during the Watergate scandal. Thus, the current measure is the highest in at least 55 years,” adds the report.

GALLUP POLL: 69% of Americans ‘Optimistic’ on Economy, 50% Better Off, Highest since 1998

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.11.19

A new Gallup Poll released Monday shows a whopping 69% of Americans are “optimistic” regarding their personal finances and expect their position to “improve over the next year.”

“Americans’ optimism about their personal finances has climbed to levels not seen in more than 16 years, with 69% now saying they expect to be financially better off ‘at this time next year,’” writes the survey.

“The 69% saying they expect to be better off is only two percentage points below the all-time high of 71%, recorded in March 1998,” adds the poll.

The strong economic data comes as more and more Democrats officially enter the 2020 race for the White House, with liberal politicians blasting the economic recovery as un-even and unfair.

GALLUP POLL: Americans View ‘Government’ as Single Biggest Problem Facing the Nation

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.19.18

A surprising poll published by Gallup this week shed new light on what Americans view as the biggest problems facing the nation; with most asked saying “government” is the largest issue for the country.

According to the survey, the “top problem” by those asked said “Government” at a whopping 19%. “Immigration” was a close second at 16% followed by “Unifying the Country” at 8%.

The top five was rounded-out by “Race Relations” and “Poverty.”

“These data come from a Gallup Dec. 3-12 survey, conducted as a looming budget impasse between Republicans and Democrats threatened to shut down the government,” reported Gallup. “The government has commonly been cited in recent years as the most important problem facing the country, with the problem having received or been tied for the most mentions — 22 times in the last 24 months.”
