NO THANKS! De Blasio Addresses Crowd of Just ‘SIX PEOPLE’ in New Hampshire Town Hall

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.18.19

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio addressed a crowd of approximately 20 people -including his staff- during a town hall event in New Hampshire Sunday night; throwing more cold-water on the liberal leader’s potential 2020 presidential campaign.

“Mayor Bill de Blasio’s ongoing tease of a presidential run didn’t exactly pull in the crowds during a campaign-esque event in the Granite State,” reports the New York Post. “Only 20 people showed up Sunday to hear the leader of America’s largest city hold a roundtable on mental health — including the 14 people on the panel and just six in the audience.”

De Blasio was flanked at the event by his wife Chirlane McCray during the second-day of his tour of the region.

“She’s my partner in everything I do and that is a phrase we say every opening and have said for years,” de Blasio said. “They feel her humanity and they feel her compassion.”

DE BLASIO 2020? NYC Mayor Travels to NH, ‘Contemplating’ Run for the White House

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.12.19

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled his plans to travel to the early primary state of New Hampshire in the coming days; sparking new speculation the liberal leader is contemplating a potential run for the White House in 2020.

“New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is making moves toward a possible run for president, soliciting City Hall staffers with national political experience and preparing to travel to the early primary state of New Hampshire this week,” writes Politico.

De Blasio will head to New Hampshire Thursday and will speak with leaders and activist groups through the end of the week.

“He wants to make sure ideas like pre-K for all, paid personal time and mental health are on the table as Democrats debate the party’s vision for the future,” said the mayor’s Communication Director Mike Casca.

2020 VISION: De Blasio Says He Won’t ‘Rule Out’ Potential White House Run against Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.14.19

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio refused to “rule out” a run for the White House over the weekend; refusing to comment on his political future “because you never know what life brings.”

“I never rule things out, because you never know what life brings,” De Blasio told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “I’m focused on the job I have, but I’ve also been really clear — I’m going to spread this message.”

“There are still a lot of moderate voices in the party that did not learn the lessons of 2016, that are not listening to what people need in this country,” he added. “So I want to push this whole party, and I want to inform this debate in this country about the fact that we could go a lot farther, we could be a lot bolder than what we’re doing now.”

The progressive Democrat unveiled his ‘NYC CARE’ program just days ago; vowing to provide “comprehensive healthcare coverage” to upwards of 600,000 low-income New Yorkers.
