NOT SO FAST: Stacey Abrams Refuses to Concede Georgia's Race for Governor

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.07.18

Democratic candidate for Georgia’s gubernatorial race Stacey Abrams refused to concede her election to the GOP’s Brian Kemp late Tuesday night; saying votes “remain to be counted” despite being down in the polls.

With 99% of the ballots in, Kemp leads Abrams by 50.3% to 48.6%.

“Democracy only works when we work for it, when we fight for it, when we demand it, and apparently today when we stand in line for hours to meet it at the ballot box,” Abrams said at nearly 2 a.m. “I am here today to tell you there are votes remaining to be counted. Voices are waiting to be heard.”

“We have three factors to be considered here: outstanding votes, absentee ballots to be counted, and provisional ballots,” said her campaign manager. “Given those three issues, we believe this is likely heading to a runoff.”

OPRAH IN GEORGIA: Winfrey Stumps for Stacey Abrams, Tells Voters to Reject ‘PROPAGANDA’

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.01.18

National celebrity Oprah Winfrey hit the campaign trail in Georgia Thursday, telling voters across the state to reject “propaganda and fear” and elect Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams next week.

Winfrey was speaking with Abram’s supporters outside of Atlanta, Georgia when she urged those in attendance to “vote your values.”

“Vote your values. Vote your conscience … the vitriol and the ads, they are designed to confuse and confound you with fear … When you know the right thing, and you can feel it … you can’t be influenced by propaganda and fear,” said Winfrey.

STACEY STALLS: New Poll Shows Democrat Stacey Abrams DOWN 11 POINTS in Georgia

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.05.18

A stunning new poll released Sunday night shows the GOP candidate in Georgia’s gubernatorial race taking a major lead; opening up an 11 point advantage over his Democratic opponent just 24 hours before voters head to the polls.

The survey -published by the Trafalgar Group– has GOP candidate Brian Kemp garnering 54% of the vote compared with Stacey Abrams 40%.

The remainder of those asked are still undecided.

The same poll also shows 52% of Georgia voters approve of President Trump’s job performance with 43% disapproving of the Commander-in-Chief.

The survey comes just days after Abrams made national headlines when she claimed during a campaign rally that undocumented workers and illegal immigrants were part of the “blue wave” predicted for Election Day.
