RAGE IN NYC: Giant Billboard SLAMMING Ocasio-Cortez Appears in Times Square

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.20.19

New Yorkers aren’t keeping their opinions to themselves regarding Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’ reaction to Amazon’s abrupt decision to abandon the Big Apple; with one group erecting a giant, anti-Cortez billboard in the heart of Times Square.

“Amazon Pullout, Thanks for Nothing, AOC,” said the billboard on 42nd Street and 8th Avenue.

The visible protest was a direct response to Ocasio-Cortez 24-hour celebration following Amazon’s decision; claiming it was a big win for “every day” New Yorkers against the “richest man in the world.”

AMAZON VS AOC: Tech Giant SLAMS Cortez, Says Couldn’t Work In This 'Environment’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.15.19

Tech giant Amazon lashed-out at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Friday; blasting the self-described Democratic-Socialist after announcing their plans to abandon its New York City headquarters.

“If you talk to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, it’s ‘Never Amazon,'” said Jodi Seth, the head of the policy communications for Amazon. “If you talk to [New York City Councilman Jimmy] Van Bramer, it’s unions.”

“It was that the environment over the course of the past three months had not got any better. There were some local and state elected officials who refused to meet with Amazon and criticized us day in and day out about the plan,” she added.

Cortez praised Amazon’s decision to abandon their NYC proposal, saying “Anything is possible: today was the day a group of dedicated, everyday New Yorkers & their neighbors defeated Amazon’s corporate greed, its worker exploitation, and the power of the richest man in the world.”

CUOMO EXPLODES: NY Gov. TRASHES ‘Politicians’ and Their ‘Narrow Interests’ for Amazon Disaster

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.14.19

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo unloaded on a “small group of politicians” and their “narrow political interests” Thursday after Amazon confirmed they were withdrawing plans to build a massive headquarters in New York City.

“A small group politicians put their own narrow political interests above their community…The New York State Senate has done tremendous damage. They should be held accountable for this lost economic opportunity,” said Cuomo.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez -who represents a section of New York City- hailed the decision; calling Amazon’s sudden withdrawal from the region a success for “everyday” people.
