REPORT: Flynn Claims McCabe ‘PUSHED HIM’ Not to Have Lawyer Present During FBI Interview

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.12.18

Recently released court filings reveal former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn stated that former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe “pushed” him not to have his lawyer present during the questioning that “led to his guilty plea.”

According to Fox News, the documents reveal the “rapid sequence of events” that surrounded the FBI’s questioning of Flynn regarding his role in possible collusion with Russian authorities during the 2016 presidential election.

“The document outlines, with striking new details, the rapid sequence of events that led to Flynn’s sudden fall from the Trump administration. The filing also seemingly demonstrates that the FBI took a significantly more aggressive tack in handling the Flynn interview than it did during other similar matters, including the agency’s sit-downs with Hillary Clinton and ex-Trump adviser George Papadopoulos,” writes Fox News.

“I explained that I thought the quickest way to get this done was to have a conversation between [Flynn] and the agents only,” McCabe deflected. “I further stated that if LTG Flynn wished to include anyone else in the meeting, like the White House Counsel for instance, that I would need to involve the Department of Justice. [General Flynn] stated that this would not be necessary and agreed to meet with the agents without any additional participants.”

COMEY CONFUSION: Former FBI Boss Told Congress FLYNN DIDN’T LIE to Bureau

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.14.18

While Robert Mueller’s never-ending Trump investigation continues to spiral out of control, recent information is shedding new light on former advisor Michael Flynn’s testimony; with inside sources saying James Comey told Congressional leaders the bureau didn’t believe Flynn intentionally lied.

According to the Washington Examiner, “two sources” with inside knowledge of both Flynn’s conversations with the FBI as well as Comey’s testimony to Congress claim the former FBI chief told investigators that the bureau “did not believe” Flynn had either lied or was intentionally lying while speaking with agents.

“According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression that Flynn would not be charged with a crime pertaining to the Jan. 24 interview,” writes the Examiner.

Despite Comey’s assertions, Robert Mueller charged Flynn approximately nine months later with intentionally making false statements to the FBI during his January 24th questioning.

The revelation raises serious questions over why Flynn was charged, and whether Robert Mueller’s ongoing witch hunt is desperately searching for inroads into President Trump’s inner-circle.

DEMOCRAT DREAM: Rep. Schiff Says Redacted Flynn Report ‘Signals’ Major Problems for the President

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.05.18

Rep. Adam Schiff weighed-in on the recently released Mueller report surrounding former Trump aide Michael Flynn Tuesday night; saying the heavily-redacted document “signals” he has “given far more than we or the President may know.”

“The recommendation of no jail time for Flynn, apart from its obvious irony for the man who led chants of “lock her up,” reflects both the timeliness and significance of his help. That most of the details are redacted signals he has given far more than we or the President may know,” posted Rep. Schiff on social media.

Mueller’s report asked a federal judge to give Flynn between zero and six months of jail time for unspecified crimes; saying he was working extensively with the special counsel’s office but releasing few details.
