REPORT: Half of De Blasio’s $100 MILLION Healthcare Plan to go to ‘Undocumented Immigrants’

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.09.19

A new report published by USA Today Wednesday reveals nearly “half” of NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio’s new healthcare program would go towards treating “undocumented immigrants” living throughout the Big Apple.

“The comprehensive health care plan ceremoniously unveiled by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio this week drew lots of applause from the Democrat’s supporters but also is drawing skepticism from voices in his city who question the true value and cost of the effort,” writes USA Today.

“This is the city paying for direct comprehensive care (not just ERs) for people who can’t afford it, or can’t get comprehensive Medicaid – including 300,000 undocumented New Yorkers,” posted a spokesperson for De Blasio on social media.

“How about instead of giving free healthcare to 300,000 citizens of other countries, you lower property taxes for our senior citizens who are being forced to sell the homes they’ve lived in for decades because they can’t afford to pay your 44 percent increased in property taxes?” asked State Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio made a surprise announcement Tuesday; effectively “guaranteeing” universal healthcare for “every single resident” living in the Big Apple that doesn’t have insurance.

“New York City will begin guaranteeing comprehensive health care to every single resident regardless of someone’s ability to pay or immigration status, an unprecedented plan that will protect the more than half-a-million New Yorkers currently using the ER as a primary provider,” writes NBC New York.

“This is the city paying for direct comprehensive care (not just ERs) for people who can’t afford it, or can’t get comprehensive Medicaid — including 300,000 undocumented New Yorkers,” spokesman Eric Phillips tweeted.

IT’S OFFICIAL: De Blasio 'Guarantees Healthcare' for all 600,000 Uninsured New Yorkers

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.08.19

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio officially unveiled his ‘NYC CARE’ project Tuesday morning; launching a new government program that would provide comprehensive healthcare for all 600,000 uninsured Big Apple residents.

“Mayor Bill de Blasio is announcing Tuesday that the city is rolling out a program to provide health care to all New York City residents, including undocumented immigrants,” writes ABC News.

“Health care is a right, not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it,” said Mayor de Blasio. “While the federal government works to gut health care for millions of Americans, New York City is leading the way by guaranteeing that every New Yorker has access to quality, comprehensive access to care, regardless of immigration status or their ability to pay.”
