SARAH SMACKDOWN: Huckabee Sanders ROASTS Sen. Jeff Flake on LIVE TV

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.07.18

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders didn’t hold back when asked to comment on Sen. Jeff Flake’s anti-Trump tirade on the Senate floor, telling reporters she simply “doesn’t care” what the outgoing GOP congressman has to say.

“Senator Flake said something on the Senate floor and I want to give you a chance to respond,” asked one reporter during the daily briefing. “He said, ‘Treason is not a punchline.’ Can you say for the sake of the future that you agree with Sen. Flake on that? That ‘treasonous’ is not a punchline?”

“Honestly, I’m not going to respond to Sen. Flake’s comments. I don’t really care what Sen. Flake has to say. I don’t think his constituents do either; his numbers are in the tank. The President was clearly joking with his comments,” fired back Sanders.

“What isn’t a joke is that the Democrats refuse to celebrate the accomplishments of last year that has helped all Americans. What this country doesn’t understand is why Democrats are so upset about lower taxes and higher wages,” she added.

SARAH SMACKDOWN: Huckabee Sanders ROASTS Flake’s ‘RIDICULOUS’ Temper Tantrum

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.17.18

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders roasted Sen. Jeff Flake’s rant before the US Senate on Wednesday, calling the anti-Trump lawmaker’s speech a desperate attempt to gain national “attention.”

Sanders was speaking with reporters during the daily White House press briefing when she was asked to comment on Senator Jeff Flake’s bizarre address on the Senate floor, where he claimed the President was giving comfort to “dictators” around the world.

“Not only has the past year seen an American president borrow despotic language to refer to the free press, but it seems he has in turn inspired dictators and authoritarians with his own language. This is reprehensible,” Flake told his colleagues.

“I found it quite interesting that he is coming out to attack this President considering he’s the one that was recently defending an actually oppressive regime. He went to Cuba a few weeks ago and served as a mouthpiece for the oppressive Cuban government,” said Sanders.

“He’s not criticizing the President because he’s against oppression. He’s criticizing the President because he has terrible poll numbers. He is looking for some attention. I think it’s unfortunate,” she added.

SARAH SMACKDOWN: Huckabee Sanders SHREDS 'Apocalyptic' Nancy Pelosi

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.04.18

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called-out House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Wednesday night; ripping the former Speaker of the House over her predictions of “Armageddon” regarding the GOP-sponsored tax cuts.

Sanders called-out Pelosi on social media, saying “despite Nancy Pelosi’s warning” to the American people, the “Trump economy is booming.” The Press Secretary went on to quote a sentence from a recent article outlining the President’s accomplishments one year into his first term. “It turns out the businessman knows more about how the economy really works than the chattering class,” she added.

“Despite Nancy Pelosi’s warning of ‘Armageddon’ the Trump economy is booming. ‘It turns out the businessman knows more about how the economy really works than the chattering class,’” she tweeted.

Pelosi’s “end of the world” prediction game just days before the House and Senate passed the largest tax cuts in a generation; unleashing American businesses and individuals from an outdated and overly complicated tax structure.

“It is the end of the world,” Pelosi warned. “The debate on health care is life and death. This is Armageddon.”
