SAUDI CRACKDOWN: Saudi Arabia Arrests WOMEN’S RIGHTS Activists

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.22.18

Saudi Arabia is clamping down on female rights activists across the country this week; arresting at least three more advocates for women’s civil rights as the nation prepares to lift it’s total ban on female drivers.

According to Reuters, that brings the total number of demonstrators jailed to ten women who actively campaigned to end the ban on female motorists, with the new guidelines becoming law next week.

“These actions are inconsistent with messages of reform on which Western support for Vision 2030 is based,” said a foreign diplomat, referencing the nation’s social reform agenda.

“Amnesty International is worried about reports of further arrests of individuals … and we call on the authorities to reveal the whereabouts of these individuals and reveal the charges against them,” said Amnesty’s Middle East Director.

“Of the 10 detainees, Amnesty has only publicly identified four women – Eman al-Nafjan, Loujain al-Hathloul, Aziza al-Yousef and Aisha al-Manea, and two men as Ibrahim Modeimigh and Mohammed al-Rabea,” writes Reuters.

MIDEAST BREAKTHROUGH? Saudi Arabia BACKS ISRAEL, Slams Obama Nuke Deal

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.03.18

Saudi Arabia’s crown prince stunned leaders throughout the Middle East and the world Monday, affirming Israel’s right to exist and slamming the Obama administration’s failed Iranian nuclear agreement.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman suddenly broke with other Arab leaders in supporting the rights of the Jewish State, telling the Atlantic that Israelis have “a right to have their own land.”

The affirmation is seen as a key milestone in President Trump’s push for peace in the region; raising new hopes that Saudi Arabia may soon propose formal diplomatic relations with Jerusalem.

“I believe that each people, anywhere, has a right to live in their peaceful nation,” he said. “I believe the Palestinians and the Israelis have the right to have their own land.”

The Prince then set his sights on Iran’s Supreme Leader, saying the ruler was “trying to conquer the world.”

“Hitler didn’t do what the supreme leader [of Iran] is trying to do,” the crown prince told The Atlantic. “Hitler tried to conquer Europe. This is bad. But the supreme leader is trying to conquer the world.”

“President Obama believed that if he gave Iran opportunities to open up, it would change,” he added. “But with a regime based on this ideology, it will not open up soon.”

AMERICA FIRST: US to Become World’s TOP OIL Exporter Next Year

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.04.18

Energy industry insiders announced Friday that the United States is poised to become the world’ largest oil exporter; surpassing Saudi Arabia for the first time as early as next year.

According to Citigroup, the US currently produces approximately 8.3 million barrels of crude and refined oil per day compared with Saudi Arabia’s 9.3 million barrels.

Expanding American business and energy operations throughout the country are expected to boost those figures within months.

“Saudi Arabia has also trimmed its oil production more than 100 percent of the output cuts it agreed to under the January 2017 production deal. In March, Saudi crude production was at 9.91 million bpd, below the deal’s output target of 10.058 million bpd,” writes OilPrice.

The new projections fulfill a major campaign promise from President Donald Trump, who vowed to open new areas and unleash energy sector businesses to help make the United States energy independent.
