SESSIONS NEXT: The Attorney General is GRILLED for Hours by MUELLER'S Hit Squad

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.23.18

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is officially the latest Trump administration insider to be dragged before the special counsel’s office; being questioned for “hours” by Mueller’s team as the months-long investigation into Russian “collusion” drags on.

According to Fox News, Sessions spent “several hours” speaking with Mueller’s investigators last week, marking the first time the special counsel’s office has interviewed a senior cabinet member inside President Trump’s White House.

The Attorney General is viewed by federal investigator’s as a “key witness” into whether President Trump obstructed justice when he fired former FBI director James Comey over his mishandling of the bureau’s probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

The high-level interview with Sessions comes just days after Mueller’s team struck a deal with former White House strategist Steve Bannon to avoid appearing before a Grand Jury; opting to speak in a more informal setting with the special counsel’s office.

President Trump has repeatedly denied that his campaign “colluded” with any foreign officials during the 2016 campaign, calling Mueller’s never-ending investigation the “greatest political witch-hunt” in the history of the United States.

BANNON’S TURN: Former Trump Advisor SUBPOENAED by Robert Mueller

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.16.18

Stephen Bannon, former senior advisor to President Trump, has officially been subpoenaed to speak before Robert Mueller’s never-ending investigation into allegations the Trump campaign “colluded” with Russian officials; making him the latest Trump associate to be dragged before a grand jury.

According to the New York Times, Mueller’s decision to issue the subpoena is the first time the tactic has been used to speak with a member of President Trump’s inner-most team during the 2016 presidential campaign, but can be seen as a “negotiating tactic” to access Bannon in a more relaxed, informal setting at the Special Counsel’s office.

“The move marked the first time Mr. Mueller is known to have used a grand jury subpoena to seek information from a member of Mr. Trump’s inner circle. The special counsel’s office has used subpoenas before to seek information on Mr. Trump’s associates and their possible ties to Russia or other foreign governments,” writes the Times.

This week, Bannon also testified before the House Intelligence Committee; which is conducting its own investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 race for the White House.

Mueller’s subpoena comes just days after a new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” outlined conversations in which Bannon describes the infamous Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer as “unpatriotic.” Bannon has since backtracked from his comments, saying he was only describing former campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

BIAS ALERT: Mueller's No. 2 SECRETLY SLAMMED Trump's Travel Ban

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.15.17

A senior-level prosecutor now serving as a Deputy to special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia-Trump investigation found himself in hot-water on Tuesday, following reports he praised acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she publicly defied President Trump’s travel ban last January, reports Fox News.

The correspondence, obtained by government watch-dog agency Judicial Watch, shows that Andrew Weissmann emailed Yates in late January with the subject line, “I am so proud.”

“And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects,” the email continued.

Sally Yates was publicly fired by President Trump after she refused to enforce his executive order regarding immigration and refugees from specific countries around the world.

The news follows another revelation that a senior investigator inside the special counsel’s office was demoted earlier this year for his “anti-Trump bias;” being relocated to the Human Resources Department at the FBI after his “unprofessional” text exchanges were reviewed by Mueller’s team.

“Andrew Weisman, a key prosecutor on Robert Mueller’s team, praised Obama DOJ holdover Sally Yates after she lawlessly thwarted President Trump,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

“How much more evidence do we need that the Mueller operation has been irredeemably compromised by anti-Trump partisans?” he asked.
