Recently sworn-in Governor of California Gavin Newsom continued to promote his left-wing agenda throughout the Golden State this week; unveiling a new budget that would impose a region-wide “water tax” to help “disadvantaged communities.”
“In order to help disadvantaged communities obtain safe and affordable drinking water, California Governor Gavin Newsom is proposing a new statewide water tax,” writes SF Gate.
Took my Cabinet on a surprise trip to the Central Valley to hear directly from folks who lack access to affordable, clean water.
Our first stop: we met with residents who cannot drink or bathe with the water in their homes — while paying more for it than those in Beverly Hills. pic.twitter.com/b25vueQf4B

“In the newly-released 2019-20 budget, Newsom calls for the creation of a ‘safe and affordable drinking water fund’ that would ‘enable the State Water Resources Control Board to assist communities, particularly disadvantaged communities, in paying for the short-term and long-term costs of obtaining access to safe and affordable drinking water,’” adds the article.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Gavin Newsom Calls for Free Healthcare for Region's ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS
Democratic candidate for Governor of California Gavin Newsom raised eyebrows across the state this week; calling for a universal healthcare program to cover millions of illegal immigrants residing in the region.
Newsom was speaking on the left-leaning “Pod Save America” podcast when he weighed-in on his fellow Democrats proposal for a “Medicare for All” system; saying a universal healthcare scheme should apply to every person -regardless of immigration status- living in California.
“I did universal health care when I was mayor– fully implemented, regardless of pre-existing condition, ability to pay, and regardless of your immigration status. San Francisco is the only universal health care plan for all undocumented residents in America. Very proud of that,” Newsom said. “I’d like to see that extended to the rest of the state.”

THE COST: Gov. Newsom DEMANDING $260 MILLION for Medicaid Expansion to Illegal Immigrants
California’s Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom released his proposed budget this week; asking for upwards of $260 million to expand Medicaid to undocumented workers and illegal immigrants throughout the state.
“A Democratic proposal to extend government-funded medical coverage to low-income people who reside in California illegally would cost the state $260 million, according to the governor’s budget released Thursday,” reports the Washington Examiner.
The revised healthcare program would take effect July 2019 and is expected to expand Medicaid and other government subsidies to an additional 138,000 low-income individuals.
Healthcare should be a basic human right. Republicans in DC are already attacking our efforts to provide quality, affordable healthcare to everyone who calls CA home. We cannot accept the status quo. We must keep demanding better care for ALL Californians. https://t.co/C6d32ffNrV

“Newsom has argued that his plan should be enacted because California residents are already paying for healthcare at the back end through fees to emergency departments,” adds the author.
