TEHRAN TALKS TOUGH: Iran Threatens US with ‘UNIMAGINABLE’ Attack

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.24.18

Leaders in Tehran warned the United States this week of an “unimaginable and regrettable” response should the US strike Iran; adding America “should not play with the lion’s tail.”

Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri issued the overt threat through an official statement Tuesday, saying President Trump’s warning of “historic consequences” would be met with a “strong response.”

“As our president correctly pointed out, the enemies, particularly America, whose centers of interest are within reach of the visible and hidden defense forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, should not play with the lion’s tail,” said Bagheri. “Because they will receive a strong, unimaginable and regrettable response of great magnitude in the region and the world.”

“If America wants to take a serious step in this direction it will definitely be met with a reaction and equal countermeasures from Iran,” added a spokesperson with the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

A NEW DEAL: US Unveils ’12 Requirements’ for New Iran Agreement

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.21.18

United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo unveiled the Trump administration’s list of demands for a new Iranian nuclear agreement this week; calling on leaders in Tehran to halt all uranium enrichment and cease its support for terror groups throughout the Middle East.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Pompeo revealed the preconditions during a speaking event in Washington, DC earlier Monday; saying Iran needs to fulfill “12 basic requirements” to reach a new agreement with the United States to ease crippling economic sanctions.

The list includes halting uranium enrichment, severing its ties with militants operating in the region, and walking away from Iranian involvement in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, and Afghanistan.

“Relief from sanctions will come only when we see tangible, demonstrated, and sustained shifts in Tehran’s policies,” Mr. Pompeo said. “We acknowledge Iran’s right to defend its people. But not its actions which jeopardize the world’s citizens.”

“These will end up being the strongest sanctions in history by the time we are complete,” added the Secretary of State.

DEEP STATE DEPT: John Kerry Rejects 'AMERICA FIRST' in Fiery Speech

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.21.18

Former Secretary of State John Kerry directly rebuked the Trump administration’s ‘America First’ policy over the weekend; telling a group of college students that the United States “won’t win” if it decides to “go alone” on a host of international issues.

The senior Obama aide was speaking at New York University’s Abu Dhabi commencement ceremony Sunday when he rejected the President’s approach on Iran, immigration, and North Korea; saying America can’t simply “retreat within our borders.”

“We won’t win, any of us, ultimately, by retreating within our borders, by focusing on our own nations only, or by going it alone,” Kerry said.

“No matter how big or how many the challenges, I want you to leave here today confident about our ability to win that future,” he added. “Every single problem we face is created by human choices,” he said. “And to the best of my knowledge those problems can also be solved by human choices.”

The former Secretary of State came under fire earlier this month after he engaged in “shadow diplomacy” to help save the Iranian nuclear agreement just days before President Trump announced the United States’ withdrawal from the deal.
