New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s security detail physically removed a credentialed journalist Sunday; booting the reporter after he pressed the Big Apple leader about his administration’s deep ties to various lobbying groups.
According to the New York Post, De Blasio was preparing to launch the city’s annual Dominican Day Parade in Manhattan when he was asked to comment on a recent story that slammed the Mayor’s extensive financial relationships with outside organizations.

“Instead of answering or even declining to answer the question, the mayor watched as two members of his NYPD security detail approached the reporter — who was wearing a police-issued press pass around his neck — with one grabbing his shoulder and leading him away from the mayor,” writes the Post.
“Both bodyguards then escorted the reporter about a half-block away,” adds the author.

DE BLASIO’S DELUSION: NYC Mayor Bizarrely COMPARES Himself to Gandhi, Edison
Hyper-liberal Mayor of New York City Bill De Blasio went on a self-delusional tirade while commenting on his failed liberal agenda, bizarrely comparing himself to world-renowned leaders and innovators such as Thomas Edison and Mahatma Gandhi.
According to Politico, De Blasio was defending his left-wing policies and agenda when he launched into his bizarre rant; adding that his much-maligned policies that have failed to gain traction in the nation’s biggest city may work on a national scale.
“I want to talk to anyone who thinks that and tell them they need to start thinking more,” said the mayor. “I mean, give me a break. So every time someone tries something and it doesn’t work, it invalidates anything else they might do going forward?”
“Tell Thomas Edison that, and Henry Ford, tell Mahatma Gandhi. How many people fell on their faces along the way trying things, experimenting with things, had setbacks? There’s no leader who hasn’t had setbacks.”
De Blasio’s recent visit to Iowa and other prominent events is raising serious questions over whether the New York politician is planning to enter the national political arena. The Big Apple Mayor easily cruised to re-election this month in New York, defeating Republican challenger Nicole Malliotakis by a margin of 66% to 28%.
IT BEGINS: Bill De Blasio Calls for ABOLISHMENT of ‘BROKEN’ ICE
Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio slammed the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency Friday; blasting the “unreasonable” department and calling for the abolishment of ICE in the aftermath of “family separations.”
De Blasio took to twitter to attack the federal agency, saying America needs “reasonable law enforcement” along the US-Mexico border; adding that ICE agents are “not reasonable law enforcement.”
“Every country needs reasonable law enforcement on their borders. ICE is not reasonable law enforcement. ICE is broken, it’s divisive and it should be abolished,” he tweeted.

The Mayor’s comments come just days after the President signed an executive order ending “family separations” along the border; effectively permitting minors to remain with their parents while being processed by federal agents.
