THE LATEST: Senate Democrats Walk Out of Kavanaugh Vote in Protest

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.28.18

At least four Democrat members of the Senate Judiciary Committee abruptly walked-out of Friday’s hearings surrounding Judge Brett Kavanaugh; raising the likelihood of a purely partisan vote to endorse the potential Supreme Court Justice.

According to the Hill, Sens. Whitehouse, Blumenthal, Hirono, and Harris suddenly departed the room just moments after Chairman Chuck Grassley officially opened the hearing.

The Committee has scheduled a 1:30pm vote on Kavanaugh.

“I strongly object. This is just totally ridiculous. What a railroad job. My answer is no, no, no!” yelled Sen. Hirono as she left the room.

COURT CHAOS: Kavanaugh Hearing Interrupted by Protesters, Dems Call for DELAY

The hearings surrounding President Trump’s nominee to join the Supreme Court descended into chaos Tuesday morning, with liberal protesters chanting “vote no” as Congressional Democrats called for an indefinite postponement.

“Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley was able to deliver his opening statement for just a few seconds before Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris raised objections to the committee just receiving a batch of 42,000 documents relating to the nominee’s work with past administrations,” writes Fox News.

“We cannot possibly move forward,” said Sen. Harris.

Sen. Cory Booker slammed Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley moments later, saying the proceedings violated his “sense of decency.”

“I think you are taking advantage of my decency and my integrity,” Grassley fired-back.

GRAHAM ON HANNITY: Democrats Have 'NO BOUNDARIES' in 'Destroying' Donald Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.25.18

Sen. Lindsey Graham stopped by ‘Hannity’ Monday night to weigh-in on Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process; saying “there are no boundaries” when it comes to opposing President Trump and his agenda.

“For [Democrats] to complain about the process is like an arsonist complaining about a fire. The allegations against Judge Kavanaugh are collapsing. This has been the worst low point in the Senate for me and that is saying a lot,” Graham said.

“I never thought it would get this bad. We are going to have a hearing Thursday and have a vote soon thereafter. And I look forward to supporting this good man,” the Senator added. “The takeaway for me, Sean, is that when it comes to Donald Trump, there are no boundaries, there are no rules. Whatever you need to do to destroy him or his agenda is okay.”
