THE RESISTANCE: California Files 32 LAWSUITS Against the Trump Administration

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.18.18

The “California resistance” against Donald Trump includes at least 32 separate lawsuits since he took office; legally attacking the White House over issues such as immigration, the border wall, and health care.

According to CNBC, the liberal bastion has filed 32 lawsuits against the Trump administration since his inauguration in January 2017, attempting to derail the President’s policy agenda on the environment, DACA, transgender military guidelines, and more.

Just this week, California Governor Jerry Brown trashed the President after he met with local politicians who are “rebelling” against the state’s “unconstitutional” Sanctuary City policies; accusing Trump of “lying about the laws of California.”

@realDonaldTrump is lying on immigration, lying about crime and lying about the laws of CA. Flying in a dozen Republican politicians to flatter him and praise his reckless policies changes nothing. We, the citizens of the fifth largest economy in the world, are not impressed,” tweeted Brown

“In all, there have been at least 32 lawsuits filed on more than a dozen subjects and many could take years to resolve,” writes CNBC.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: LA Considers GIVING FREE HOUSES to City’s Homeless Population

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.23.18

The full-fledged chaos engulfing the state of California continued this week, with the Los Angeles City Council considering a motion that would provide free housing to the city’s estimated 60,000 person homeless population.

According to CBS Los Angeles, the motion was introduced last month and will be brought before the council Friday; declaring the city’s ballooning transient problem a public health emergency. The declaration would release additional funds to construct new homes and shelters for those on the city streets.

“The city has explored multiple options for dealing with its growing homeless population,” writes CBS. “In February, the council unanimously approved putting about 60 homeless people in trailers on a downtown lot.”

The portable shelters contain bathrooms, kitchens, at least one bedroom, and are expected to cost approximately $2 million.

The vote comes as nearby countries and cities reject the state’s “unconstitutional” ‘Sanctuary’ policies, with one town officially voting down the measure as homelessness and crime rates soar throughout the region.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: LAPD Officer Arrested SMUGGLING IMMIGRANTS Across Border

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.27.18

A member of the Los Angeles Police Department was arrested this week while attempting to smuggle illegal immigrants across the US-Mexico border; prompting local authorities to rethink immigration procedures for law enforcement throughout the region.

“Mambasse Koulabalo Patara has been charged with violating immigration laws, according to a federal complaint filed Wednesday,” writes CBS Los Angeles. “He was arrested early Tuesday morning at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint in Pine Valley, located about 12 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border.”

According to the federal complaint, the officer showed border agents his LAPD badge and claimed the two individuals in the vehicle were legal US citizens.

The two men, identified as Herman Lopez and his nephew German Ramirez Gonzales, eventually admitted to federal agents they were in the country illegally.

The arrest comes just weeks after President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions toured the region, vowing to crackdown on illegal immigrants and drug smuggling across the US-Mexico border.
