Iconic musician and pro-Trump rapper Kanye West is scheduled to meet with the President and Jared Kushner this week; focusing on prison reform, manufacturing, and gun violence in Chicago and other cities across the United States.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed the face-to-face meeting Tuesday, saying “Topics of discussions will include manufacturing resurgence in America, prison reform, how to prevent gang violence, and what can be done to reduce violence in Chicago.”
The Commander-in-Chief weighed-in on Chicago’s escalating gun crisis during a trip to Florida just days ago.
“I’ve told them to work with local authorities to try to change the terrible deal the city of Chicago entered into with ACLU, which ties law enforcement’s hands; and to strongly consider stop-and-frisk,” said Trump this week during a speech in Orlando. “It works, and it was meant for problems like Chicago. It was meant for it. Stop-and-frisk.”
The musician and fashion designer doubled-down on his support for President Trump during a recent performance on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ saying “If someone inspires me and I connect with them, I don’t have to believe in all they policies.”

LATE NIGHT LECTURE: Colbert UNDER FIRE for Suggesting Kanye ‘INSANE’
Late night comedian and anti-Trump crusader Stephen Colbert is facing a severe backlash this week for suggesting music icon Kanye West had “lost his mind” for supporting President Trump.
The comic was weighing in on West’s recent tweet-storm where he proclaimed his “love” for Donald Trump and refused to back down to the liberal “mob” calling for him to recant his statement.
“You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought,” West tweeted.
“Yes, we have the right to independent thought and I independently think that Kanye has lost his mind,” Colbert fired-back.
“Stephen Colbert is just another ignorant, arrogant hate-monger who’s obsessed with Trump,” one viewer wrote.

GANGLAND: Another 33 People SHOT LAST WEEKEND in Rahm's 'GUN FREE' Chicago
The epidemic of gun violence sweeping through Chicago continued last weekend, with city officials confirming at least 33 people were injured in multiple shootings throughout the nation’s third largest metropolis.
According to the Chicago Sun Times nearly three dozen individuals were hospitalized after another bloody weekend in the Windy City; nine people on Friday, 10 Saturday, 12 Sunday, and two as of Monday morning.
“On Sunday, a dispute at a block party ended with a woman shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side. The 29-year-old had been arguing with someone in the 1300 block of West 73rd Street, police said. That person left the party and then returned about 3:25 a.m. to shoot the woman,” writes the Sun Times.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel is under fierce scrutiny from residents and local officials after his police department failed to make a single arrest just one week ago, when over 70 people were shot and a dozen killed throughout Chicago.
