CNN Reports on Trump’s ‘Unhealthy Diet’ Moments After NYC Terror Attack

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.11.17

CNN came-under fire on Monday after the network shamelessly covering President Trump’s “unhealthy diet” just minutes after a would-be suicide bomber attacked New York City commuters; saying Trump’s consumption of “diet coke” is “not what doctors would recommend” as first responders rushed towards Times Square.

The news network reported on the botched terror attack that rocked the Port Authority Bus Terminal just before 8am Monday morning.

By 8:45, CNN returned to its non-stop coverage of President Trump, reporting on a recent “exposé” that claimed the President consumes a “dozen diet cokes” per day.

“This is about his Diet Coke habit […] Watching cable, he shares thoughts with anyone in the room, even the household staff he summons via a button for lunch or for one of the dozen Diet Cokes he consumes each day,” said CNN’s Camerota.

“When I read this, I think, this is not what doctors would recommend. This is not the healthiest diet. However, obviously, President Trump seems to have boundless energy, so what does your reporting suggest?” she added.

The President ratcheted up his war of words with the cable news network Monday morning, saying he rarely watches the outlet and referred to anchor Don Lemon as the “dumbest man on television.”
