TRUMP UNLEASHED: The President Says Democrats ‘Rooting Against’ USA

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.26.18

President Trump called-out liberal legislators and the mainstream media Friday morning; accusing the lawmakers of “rooting against” the United States in its negotiations with North Korea while rushing to the defense of MS-13 gang members.

The Commander-in-Chief slammed Congressional Democrats on social media, saying they were “obviously rooting against” his administration in its attempt to completely denuclearize the Korean peninsula.

“Democrats are so obviously rooting against us in our negotiations with North Korea. Just like they are coming to the defense of MS 13 thugs, saying that they are individuals & must be nurtured, or asking to end your big Tax Cuts & raise your taxes instead. Dems have lost touch!” he tweeted.

The President’s harsh rhetoric comes just a day after he canceled his high-level meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, but hinted Friday that the scheduled summit may in-fact take place June 12th.

SUMMIT SURVIVES? Trump Praises Kim’s ‘WARM STATEMENT,’ Says ‘Time Will Tell’

President Trump resurrected hopes of his high-level meeting with Kim Jong Un Friday, thanking the North Korean leader just hours after he suddenly canceled the summit scheduled for June 12th in Singapore.

The President praised the communist leader on social media after Kim released a statement saying he was willing to meet with Trump “in any way,” adding an eventual meeting will hopefully lead to “enduring prosperity and peace” between both nations.

“Very good news to receive the warm and productive statement from North Korea. We will soon see where it will lead, hopefully to long and enduring prosperity and peace. Only time (and talent) will tell!” tweeted the President.

Trump abruptly canceled the high-stakes talks this week after multiple statements from the Hermit Kingdom insulted top aides and officials; including Vice President Mike Pence and National Security Advisor John Bolton.

“They very much want to do it, we want to do it, we’ll see what happens,” Trump told reporters this week. “Everybody plays games.”

GANGLAND: New Yorkers PRAISE Trump’s Crackdown on ‘Animal’ MS-13

Local residents on Long Island, New York praised the President’s tough approach to violent street gang MS-13 this week; thanking the President for his harsh crackdown on the cartel that has terrorized communities for over a decade.

The President first visited the region in July to talk with leaders about the “bloodstained killing fields” that had overrun their neighborhoods; saying his administration will “dismantle and eradicate” the gang after multiple murders terrorized the suburban communities.

“It feels a lot better and safer,” longtime Brentwood resident Melissa Early, 40, told Newsday. “I’m not sure if they’ve moved on or they just know people are gunning for them.”

“It used to be … people afraid to walk around,” she said. “Now it’s all different. The police are really on top of things.”

Democrat Nassau County Executive Laura Curran praised the Trump administration’s response to MS-13, calling the President’s focus on law enforcement a “unique opportunity.”

“It is a unique opportunity,” Curran said, “to directly seek more federal funds and assistance for law enforcement to combat gangs and gain resources for community groups to keep our youth from joining gangs.”
