UBER UPROAR: Bill de Blasio Signs First-Ever Law Limiting UBER, LYFT Rides in NYC

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.14.18

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio signed into law the nation’s first-ever cap aimed at limiting electronically hailed car services in the Big Apple; caving to pressure from Yellow Cab drivers and unions complaining of crowded streets and lower fares.

According to the New York Post, De Blasio signed the bill into law at 2:30pm Tuesday as drivers rushed to officially register their vehicles before the cap goes into effect at 5pm.

“The TLC has been flooded with applicants since the City Council approved the ban last week. On Monday, the agency took in 2,082 applications — nearly as many as the entire month of July, when it fielded 2,372, a TLC rep said,” writes the NY Post.

“Mayor Bill de Blasio signed the bill around 2:30 p.m., but the TLC is giving applicants until 5 p.m. to file their paperwork, which the agency said is standard operating procedure,” adds the author.

DE BLASIO’S DELUSION: NYC Mayor Bizarrely COMPARES Himself to Gandhi, Edison

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.26.17

Hyper-liberal Mayor of New York City Bill De Blasio went on a self-delusional tirade while commenting on his failed liberal agenda, bizarrely comparing himself to world-renowned leaders and innovators such as Thomas Edison and Mahatma Gandhi.

According to Politico, De Blasio was defending his left-wing policies and agenda when he launched into his bizarre rant; adding that his much-maligned policies that have failed to gain traction in the nation’s biggest city may work on a national scale.

“I want to talk to anyone who thinks that and tell them they need to start thinking more,” said the mayor. “I mean, give me a break. So every time someone tries something and it doesn’t work, it invalidates anything else they might do going forward?”

“Tell Thomas Edison that, and Henry Ford, tell Mahatma Gandhi. How many people fell on their faces along the way trying things, experimenting with things, had setbacks? There’s no leader who hasn’t had setbacks.”

De Blasio’s recent visit to Iowa and other prominent events is raising serious questions over whether the New York politician is planning to enter the national political arena. The Big Apple Mayor easily cruised to re-election this month in New York, defeating Republican challenger Nicole Malliotakis by a margin of 66% to 28%.

BAD APPLE: Bill De Blasio Trashes NFL’s ‘UN-AMERICAN’ Protest Ban

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.25.18

Hyper-liberal New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio predictably blasted the National Football League’s new rules regarding player protests Friday, calling NFL’s decision to ban the demonstrations “un-American.”

De Blasio was speaking with MSNBC when he slammed the owners’ unanimous decision to require all athletes to stand for the US national anthem or remain in the locker room, saying “it doesn’t make any sense.”

“Un-American. Just plain un-American,” said the Big Apple Mayor.

“It doesn’t make sense. You know, we would not tolerate it if any other employer said that their employees cannot express their beliefs. You know, right away you’d say violation of the First Amendment,” he added.

“I don’t understand why the owners think they can get away from this in any way, shape or form. But what they’re doing ultimately is simply bringing more attention to the cause of players, who are saying there’s an injustice that has to be addressed,” he concluded.

The President praised the NFL’s decision this week, saying they “did the right thing” and will hopefully regain fans lost during their disastrous 2017 season.
