USA UNLEASHED: Second Quarter GDP REVISED UP, Grew FASTER than Expected

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.29.18

The US economy actually grew by a stunning 4.2% in the second quarter of 2018; inching upwards by 0.1% after economists officially reviewed government and business data from across the country.

According to Yahoo News, the “roaring growth” seen under President Trump was higher than previously estimated; smashing expectations just months after the Commander-in-Chief signed the sweeping overhaul of the nation’s outdated tax code into law.

“The uptick in estimates of second quarter spending by companies was sure to comfort President Donald Trump and supporters of December’s sweeping corporate tax cuts who argue that lowering corporations’ tax burdens will spur investment and growth,” writes Yahoo.

“Gross Domestic Product advanced at an annual rate of 4.2 percent in the April-to-June period, a tenth of a point faster than initial estimates showed last month and — at nearly twice the first quarter’s pace — he fastest growth in almost four years, according to the Commerce Department,” adds the article.

GREAT AGAIN: April Jobless Claims PLUMMET to 45-Year Low

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.19.18

Jobless claims in early April dropped by over 9,000 applications to just over 230,000; reaching levels not seen in the United States since the mid 1970s.

The new data shows America’s unemployment claims are at a 45-year low as the labor market continues to roar to life under President Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress.

According to Market Watch, the strong report shows companies across the country complaining about a “shortage of labor” as more and more Americans go back to work.

“Layoffs are near a 45-year low and show no sign of rising. Companies increasingly complain about a shortage of skilled labor with the unemployment rate at a 17-year low of 4.1%, making it harder for them to fill a record number of job openings,” writes Market Watch.

“With labor so hard to find, the bar for letting people go is very high, so layoffs will remain a close to their current levels for some time yet,” said a chief economist.

GREAT AGAIN: Dow SOARS 31% Under TRUMP, Best Year Since GREAT DEPRESSION

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.19.18

As Democrats and Republicans scramble to reach a last-minute agreement to avert a federal government shutdown, the stock market continues to smash records under President Trump; soaring 31% in his first year in office and posting the greatest gains since President Franklin Roosevelt.

According to CNBC, the Dow has surged over 31% since President Trump’s inauguration in January 2017, marking the largest increase since Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s first year in office which saw the Dow “skyrocket” by 96.5% following the Great Depression.

“This is all about policy,” said a chief investment strategist at Baird. “You’ve got lower taxes, less regulation and confidence in the economy is high. Things are firing on all cylinders.”

President Trump rode a wave of economic promises and policies into the Oval Office throughout the 2016 presidential race; vowing to put “America First” and unleash “the power of the American worker.”

Trump touted the economic gains throughout the country at a rally in Pennsylvania Thursday, saying the US is “coming back bigger and better.”

“We are coming back bigger and better and stronger than ever,” said the President. “At the center of America’s resurgence are the massive tax cuts that I just signed into law.”
