Firebrand Senator Elizabeth Warren doubled-down on her fierce criticism of President Trump’s border security proposal Monday afternoon; saying Americans won’t “fall for” the “fake national emergency.”
“I stand with the thousands of people across the country who are making their voices heard and fighting the #FakeTrumpEmergency. A fake ‘national emergency’ at the border is fear-mongering of the worst kind – and we’re not falling for it,” she added.

White House Confirms Trump Will Sign Budget Bill, Declare ‘NATIONAL EMERGENCY’
The White House confirmed Thursday the President will sign a bipartisan funding agreement and subsequently declare a national emergency along the United States’ southern border with Mexico.
“President Trump will sign the government funding bill, and as he has stated before, he will also take other executive action — including a national emergency — to ensure we stop the national security and humanitarian crisis at the border,” said White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
