WATCH: Israeli Forces THWART Terrorist Bomb Plot at Border

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.14.18

The Israeli Defense Forces released stunning new footage Monday, showing their soldiers thwarting an active terror plot to bomb a heavily fortified fence at the Gaza-Israel border.

The shocking video depicts an armored Israeli military vehicle dashing towards Hamas-backed Palestinian protesters as they attempt to blow up the border crossing; ultimately firing on the would-be attackers and forcing them to retreat.

The armed clashes between demonstrators and Israeli forces come as the US embassy officially opened its new location in the heart of Jerusalem; sparking fierce protests by approximately 35,000 activists in Gaza.

“We’re expecting the great march on the 14th and 15th of this month – the entire Palestinian people will be out on the streets of Palestine,” said a Hamas organizer. “Our people will flock from the refugee camps in Lebanon to the northern border of Palestine, and our people in Jordan will also flock to the outskirts of Palestine.”

GAZA CHAOS: Dozens Killed, Terror Attack FOILED as US Embassy Opens

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.14.18

A least 37 Palestinian protesters were killed and hundreds more injured Monday as thousands of demonstrators descended on the Gaza-Israeli border, including three “armed terrorists” who attempted to “plant a bomb” near the heavily fortified fence.

According to Fox News, more than 35,000 protesters assembled near the border as US and Israeli officials officially opened the American embassy in the heart of Jerusalem; fulfilling years of US promises by recognizing the holy city as the capital of the Jewish state.

“Moments ago, an IDF patrol foiled a bomb-laying attack by a cell of three armed terrorists near Rafah, close to the border,” the Israeli military said Monday. “This is a particularly violent protest point. The troops responded with fire at the terrorists. The terrorists were killed.”

“Rioters are hurling pipe bombs and firebombs at IDF troops, burning tires, throwing stones and burning objects, with the intention of setting fires in Israel and hurting IDF troops,” said an Israeli official.

The violence comes just hours before Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and other dignitaries open the embassy, featuring a pre-recorded speech by President Trump.

HELL FREEZES OVER: Schumer THANKS Trump for Jerusalem Embassy Move

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.14.18

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer praised President Trump’s decision to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem Monday, calling the historic move “long overdue.”

The Senate’s top Democrat released an official statement to coincide with the opening of the embassy; echoing comments made by President Trump to Israeli and US dignitaries gathered for the event.

“In a long overdue move, we have moved our embassy to Jerusalem. Every nation should have the right to choose its capital,” said Schumer. “I sponsored legislation to do this two decades ago, and I applaud President Trump for doing it.”

The embassy’s opening comes as Palestinian protesters clashed with Israeli Defense Forces in Gaza; leaving at least 37 demonstrators dead as over 35,000 gathered at the heavily fortified border to protest the embassy’s relocation.

The event coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Jewish State, founded in the immediate aftermath of the Second World War.
